All of Clint Emerson’s books are excellent. Great info and told in a conversational way with a little dose of humor. Important lessons but doesn’t read like a textbook. It reads like Clint is briefing you before you go to a dangerous area. Look up his background he’s been there and made it out of dangerous places all over the world- both permissive and non-permissive environments.Good for traveling domestically and over seas. Get this book!

Best book I have read on how to survive abroad and to be a tough target!

This was a good guide to how to think and act (mostly when traveling in foreign places. It was a bit wordy and I found myself skimming some sections so I could get to the point - but the advice was solid. And the real-life examples were both interesting and relevant.

Clint, as usual, gives lifesaving tips. Very helpful.

great book to learn about keeping a low profile while travel overseas and not attracting attention to yourself. there is a section on eating etiquette, only thing missing is chewing with your mouth shut. great book and easy to read. thank you Clint Emerson for re releasing this book, i didn’t want to pay over $100 for the 1st edition

Well I thought I was aware of what was around me. Clint Emerson thank you so much for writing this book . I highly recommend this book it is must read and reread book . It is very well written and laid out so one is able to understand. With the way world is going now a days any man or woman need to develop situation awareness this book can help you with building this ability guess what you don't need to be a navy seal or green beret. Interessant, wie alle Bücher von Clint Emerson...Manche Sachen sagen einem schon die Logik. Aber für den Normalverbraucher oder Anfänger, ein sehr gutes Buch. Für Profis, eher ne Fundgrube, und das eine oder andere dazulernen, was man noch nicht wusste.
