I bought this desktop power strip to power multiple electronic devices I keep on my desk, and to shut off the power to several of the electronics when they aren't in use, to avoid trickle charge. Two switches on the top of the unit control the power to four outlets in the front, and four outlets in the back, respectively. In addition, there are four USB charging ports that have their own power button. However, the switch at the top of the unit closest to the USB ports also provide power to the USB ports, so that switch must be turned on in order for the USBs to charge. Overall the power strip met my expectations. I experienced only a few minor downsides. The outlet fittings are very tight. I had to turn the power switch sideways to exert enough force to plug in my electronics. The on/off switches are pretty stiff, and sometimes I have to push them a couple times to get them to turn on or off. I also wish the power cord from the power strip to the wall outlet was at least a couple feet longer. The cord from the wall just reaches the top of my desk, and doesn't allow me to place the power strip at the end of my desk without using an extension cord.

I had ordered 2. In 3 different homes it has blown the circuit breakers in multiple rooms. Just from plugging it in. Have never plugged in more than 1 item because of it's common habbit of blowing circuit breakers. Save your money and call your electric provider for a free green strip. These have made thier way into the junk to recycle at best buy bin.

You need to tape it down or it tends to turn over but it works better & is more efficient than any spike bar which lays on the floor.

Works great. Could use a wider base, it tips a little easy. And the USB plugs aren't strong enough to charge my tablet. But does the phone fine

Better than just having 6 horizontal plugins however it would be nice if the switches on top were lit up to let the consumer know if power is on or off.

The USB ports don't work.

This is my best gadget I purchased this year. I can charge all my electronic devices at the same time.
