Perfect for my granddaughter! The clam shell and light up pearl inside are beautiful and so are the colors it radiates. Great gift! She loved it!

Granddaughter wanted a mermaid bathroom and mom wanted a guest friendly bathroom, so I met in the middle. Because we already had a night light that was mermaid scales (purchased also through Amazon), I wanted to add something that wasn’t “mermaid” or “tail” related but still fit with the theme. Since we aren’t using it as a night light, I can’t comment on the timer, brightness, or performance of the item. However I can comment on how perfect it fit with the theme and where it was placed in the bathroom. Very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Love it! The top part of the clam came detached but it was easy to push it in. The pearl looked mystical especially when it looked like there was fog inside. There’s a little whirring noise but nothing too unbearable.UPDATE 10/6/2020 :I’ve left it on for 2 nights now and after the first night, I noticed that the whirring sound had stopped. There isn’t as much “fog” moving around as before either but the colors still change.

I purchased this shell lamp to use as a stage prop; Ursula's magic shell in "The Little Mermaid".The light was bright enough to see in the audience, and the color changing feature was a hit!

My niece came to stay over the Summer. Her one request was a “cool night light.” This did the trick! Even had to send it home with her.

This is super cute! Even I love watching the colors. The kids keep it on at night, but each time the water gets stirred up it makes a super loud rattling noise. Not just a whirring. They still insist on having it on at night but I have no idea how they are not continuously woken up. If it was quieter it would be 5 stars
