Best Invention for changing strings!!!
I just bought a new Martin Jr. guitar. I was nervous about going back to a guitar with Pegs; and I have had bad experiences removing them. Then; I found this little Gem! The design makes removing the pegs on ANY guitars that have them flawless and without damaging the guitar’s finish or breaking the pegs. Highly Recommend.

The best I have used.
This works great. Other products have left small damage marks on my bridge but this performs flawlessly. It’s made by music no made if you want to save a few bucks.

Doesn't seem to work
Keeps slipping off the pin no matter what I do. A pair of pliers is better.

Nice little gadget
Useful little tool I used it on my new J45 for its first string change I needed to protect my new investment so chose this as a safer pin remover, the J45 has an upside down bridge so the way this puller was designed made it easy to slide under pins from the saddle side down which was more convenient, it did well with first 4 thinner strings the A string pin was a bit tighter took a few attempts but the E string pin was really stubborn and being a new guitar I was over protective nervous with it being a new expensive guitar, unfortunately the Martin puller would not grip it kept flexing off the pin it was in too tight I tried a very good Dunlop type puller that flexed off too I also tried pushing from under bridge and multiple times with the Martin puller, I tried a protective card on bridge and the hard plastic remover on a string winder but this may slip under card and scratch bridge so discontinued this method, in the end the Dunlop type puller won, it took a long time I would not blame the Martin puller but maybe it could do with being a bit less flexible but having said all that I am pleased with my purchase I think as the pins get more worn it will be easier to use maybe even for the next string change , It does seem a safer way to remove the pins and I am really glad I had it on hand for my first string change with the new guitar and I can still recommend it. The pins were plain GraphTech Tusq no dot quite small head and flush fitting no collar.

Handy if a bit overpriced
I bought this pin puller before I got the Big Rock one (which is also overpriced!), perhaps you get a bit more for your money here, as it's a better made product. The rubber base prevents damaging the bridge, but it isn't ideal for scalloped bridges (and I have one with my Cort acoustic)For other bridges it works fine, and it's easy enough to pull the pins out, Good but if it were 50% cheaper that would be a more realistic price
