It works, easy to fit
I wanted a non-wired smoke alarm in the house as a backup in the event of a power cut. This fits the requirement perfectly

Battery lasted 3 years
Three years might be better than a lot of these sealed units out there, but it's not ten years is it? Really annoyed that none of them seem to keep their promises, & will be buying ones with replaceable 9V batteries from now on.That said, it's not too expensive and does seem to function well; picks up dangerous smoke but not cooking (unless you really burn something).
