Wonderful Gift For Starwars Fans!
Despite its small size, this little virtual pet game system is filled with fun! R2-D2 grows and changes based on how you take care of him. Not too much care is needed and taking care of R2 isn't annoying. The chirps, beeps, and whistles that R2 makes are cute but don't sound quite like the R2-D2 from the movies. The buttons are a little hard to press and the screen can be hard to see at times, but once you get the hang of the buttons and view the screen under a decent amount of light, it isn't too bad. The screen does NOT have its own backlight, meaning the screen itself does not light up, but as long as the screen is under enough light, the play experience can be enjoyable. This system cannot be turned off without removing the batteries, but you can mute it at any time by holding down the first and third button (buttons A and C) at the same time, which is quite nice to prevent random unwanted beeping from R2. The little game will sometimes surprise you with unexpected character appearances, which is fun. Great for kids, teens, and even adults! Can be enjoyed by men and women, boys and girls who love Star Wars and virtual pets. Wonderful gift! Thanks for reading. May God bless you. Jesus Christ loves you! You are precious and you matter! Have a great day.

Good
Gave as a gift, he liked it. It is VERY small though even for a child's hands to use.

My review will clear up if you want to spend $20 on this Tamagotchi! Promise you 👍🏻
For the people that might be reading reviews about the tiny size, or if you should spend $20 on this thing, I got to clear this up the informative way!! I'm a virtual pets nerd, so read on! Also the picture is boring I took, but you can see it from an angle. R2 is currently sleeping as I write this review. Ok here we go!I got mine recently and opened it up today. Unfortunately there seems to be a little scratch on the screen which I guess I'll return this and get another one. So far, it's been day one, and as a fan of virtual pets, I think any Star wars dork, and person that just likes virtual pets would absolutely love this because they already know it is a tamagotchi nano version. They already know what they're getting into. Tamagotchi nano series has smaller buttons, lower frequency of care needed, an egg-shaped design, and it's just smaller in general. It seems that when tamagotchi merges with another big company they tend to do it with the nano devices. The regular tamagotchi is what people are used to. But when you look into it, the nano series is also its own thing entirely. Nintendo collaborated with Pikachu and Eevee, obviously Star wars, Pac-Man, and I'm sure there's like some Japanese one that I forgot. I hope it clears up any frustration from other reviewers that say this thing is too small. Tamagotchi just has a much more diverse ecosystem that you might have never known of. If you want to check it out, there's at least the tamagotchi mini, the tamagotchi nano, the regular tamagotchi, that most retro people will know. The nano series has a special place in most people's hearts that love virtual pets. Which if you are a dork like me, and you don't have the Pac-Man one, I HIGHLY recommend it. It was really fun! So far this R2 is worth $20 to me. The sounds are a big sell to me. The bleeps and bloops make it adorable. You just have to understand that there is a whole different series of various models of tamagotchi. If you think the nano is small, check out the mini series. Even smaller. And I love the mini. It's very simple. Think Ages 4-7? The nano is the in between series. 7-12. The regular tamagotchi is 13 and up to understand them. The newer ones with color screens and cameras are intense to say the least with what you can do. If you have a busy life as an adult and can't take care of the demands of a regular tamagotchi, have a kid who's like 6 and up, and / or obviously love the Star wars series, it will add a smile to your day, and that's what matters most to me. I hope that helps clear up confusion on size, expectation, and general feel for the software experience. 👍🏻

The Adorable Droid that Stole My Heart
If you're a fan of Star Wars and the classic Tamagotchi, then you'll love Bandai America's R2-D2 Tamagotchi. This little device will steal your heart and keep you entertained for hours on end.First off, the design of this Tamagotchi is absolutely adorable. The R2-D2 figure is a perfect representation of the beloved droid from the Star Wars franchise. The attention to detail is impressive, from the blue and white color scheme to the intricate buttons and screen. The gameplay is simple and straightforward. Your task is to take care of your R2-D2 Tamagotchi by feeding it, playing games with it, and keeping it clean. You'll also need to monitor its health and happiness levels, and give it occasional maintenance check-ups to ensure it stays in tip-top shape. One of the best parts about this Tamagotchi is the variety of mini-games available. You can play games like asteroid blasting, racing, and memory matching. These games are a fun way to bond with your R2-D2 and earn points to unlock new features and items.Another great feature is the ability to connect with other Tamagotchi devices. You can exchange gifts, play games together, and even breed your Tamagotchis to create new generations. The social aspect of this Tamagotchi adds a whole new level of fun and interaction.Overall, I highly recommend the Bandai America R2-D2 Tamagotchi to any Star Wars or Tamagotchi fan. It's a perfect combination of two beloved franchises that will provide hours of entertainment and companionship. May the force be with you and your new digital droid friend!

Mom Loves It
I bought this for my mother because she's a massive Star Wars fan, especially Grogu. And I honestly thought it would be entertaining when she eventually killed the thing. It has been a lot of fun, she has my dad waking up at 6am to feed him.The small size is actually perfect to hook it to her Keychain and take it to work with her but still be able to work the buttons with adult hands. This has overall been a real joy the last few days, worth the price for sure! Perfect for kids or adults.

Great price and value!
I never write reviews but this is so f’ing worth $13. I’ve had so much fun with this little guy. It has a bunch of features for Star Wars fans with all the games and special visits. I attach it to my keychain, so I have a small keyring. Chain that it comes with can fall off so I recommend replacing it. Don’t want to lose your droid! If you’re looking for something kind of stupid to spend your money on that will make you happy, look no further!

Oh my god they're back again
This tamagotchi was a last minute gift idea I was delighted to add to my cart. They seem to be making a comeback, though the nostalgia factor alone is high. It's still compelling even though it might seem outdated - but ultimately, it's putting a little egg's survival into the hands of its owner, and it literally lives or dies on those efforts, so it's a real starter pet.It came in undamaged packaging and got here before expected, so I'm very happy with the purchase.

Tiny!
Very tiny! It’s at least half the size of a regular Tamagotchi. Picture is very misleading. 8 year old loves it tho

Really awesome little R2-D2
He’s pretty awesome! He beeps to let you know he needs you but if you want you can turn off his sounds. He shifts and “evolves” changing forms and sometimes joining a fighter! You get to take care of him and there are a couple games you can play with him. He’s honestly more entertaining than I thought he would be.
