Pleased with purchase
Item / box arrived in excellent condition.A couple of things a potential buyer should know:1) The box I received does not have the Steve McQueen image. Maybe that was deleted for licensing reasons. No big deal, but kind of expected that from what was presented.2) Hood does not open. This surprised me, given that so many model cars in this size DO have hoods that open. I have a 1967 model. The hood opens on that to a detailed engine compartment.3) Front wheels do not turn left nor right (steering wheel also does not turn). Again, these work on my 1967 model. So this is a very basic model car. Still, it looks nice and wasn't terribly expensive.

Smaller than 1:24
The toy is sturdy and well made with good detail. Its not 1:24 scale its a little smaller probably 1:28.Photos are of the product, Green Bullitt Mustang compared to Red 1:24 Chevelle (197.2 inches)

Memories revisisted
It brought back real memories of my '68 Mustang coupe - 302 V8, single quad, 3.11 rear axle, four on the floor, and a hurst shifter. I pegged the speedometer at 160 mph heading east on I-10 out of the coachella valley. It wasn't at redline, and I think I could have gotten 170 out of it. I am displaying the Bullitt car proudly among a few other mementos of when men were men.

Looking for a car that will stand up for kids. Kids playing with it and it holds up. Collector wise: I left mine in the box because it looks great!

Perfect birthday present!
Good quality item. Dad loved it! The box it is stored in was a little damaged which wasnt ideal as it was a birthday present. It was well secured in the delivery box so great points for that.
