Reelcraft 7850 OLP
Reelcraft makes the best hose reels I have ever used, they are well made and long lasting (I have two that I have used for 20 years). The 7850 OLP 1/2 inch is the most popular size and length for shop use. At a weight of 52 pounds you will need to fasten to a stud or backing. I prefer the ceiling instalation with 2x12 backing. Unreeling most of the hose makes it lighter to install, and then a tug on the hose and it reels itself up. Requires a two-person install, one to hold it and one to install the fasteners. Pre-drill pilot holes for large lag screws. I recommend using a Parker HF-251-6-FP (automatic) coupling on the end (for those using Industrial Interchange style quick disconnects).

Incredible but possibly "incomplete"
Bought this item for a very nice new garage I just finished building. Did not want to see a hose for washing the car tangled on the floor. Very high quality product and will no doubt deliver many years of service.HOWEVER, you will need the following items in order to hook it up to the wall faucet:1. Reelcraft S601020-4 1/2X4ft PVC hose.2. Female GHT Swivel x Female NPT Adapter CDA Brass 360, Item number 5021208C, from hoseinahurry.com.

A must have for blowing up big tires!
Added to my shop, already had 3/8 inch reel craft, needed big volume air to blow up and seat spreader Truck tires, did the job!!!

Reelcraft
Don't waste your money buying the cheap China reels. The difference is obvious when you pull it out of the box. Several friends bought cheap reels and not a one of them happy with them. These are high quality and will outlast several cheap reels. I bought a second one but chose the one with the double support. A little more but feels a lot more heavy duty. Only problem is you will have to buy your own swivel to hook your air supply up to the reel. For the price they should include one when you buy the reel.
