This is such an awesome language learning resource. As not only a second language student, but also a second language teacher, I loved how this book helps you increase your listening, reading, and vocabulary skills. The questions at the end of the stories are a great way to test your comprehension, and the summaries are helpful to use if you're more of a beginner and aren't able to understand the whole story yet. The included audio is at the perfect pace, not so slow that it's not really preparing you for real life Spanish, but not so fast that you get frustrated and quit. I've just recommended this to all of my friends who are studying Spanish.

Thank you so much for this book, it has been extremely resourceful. For not only me, but my parents. Spanish is our second language so we have had a lot of difficulty learning it. Since we live in Miami, it is basically an extremely vital thing to know Spanish, read and write it. Since I’ve taken many classes in Spanish, I’m extremely familiar with all of the books and things of that sort, but this certainly beats them all. I recommend it to anyone preparing for a serious test or just anyone who generally would like to learn more Spanish. It’s a super great price for the quality.

Spanish Short Stories for Beginners Vol. 2 is another excellent way to improve your reading and listening skills in the Spanish language, especially if you are already fluent in the language or are seeking to be fluent in the language itself. I personally had a blast listening to the 11 tracks throughout this audiobook and while I’m not quite as fluent in the Spanish language, I still understood some of the vocabulary presented in the short stories. I’d recommend this audiobook for anyone who already has a grasp of the Spanish language and wants to improve their storytelling capabilities.

For me, spanish is my second language and I have only studied it for a few years. So it's always good to get books that help test my reading abilities to see if I know what I am reading and also teach me a bunch of vocabulary that I might use in my day to day life.

I had to download the mp3 on a separate device and follow along on the kindle. Coordinating the two was quite difficult. For that reason alone I didn't like. However reading the stories are a great learning tool.

As someone learning Spanish, this book was very helpful. In order to grasp the language, you have to see the words together, and this book does a great job at producing fabulous short stories and that are easy to read. There is also an audio download, which makes it fun to listen to in the car.

This audio book is definitely great for beginners. The stories in it are not too long or too short and they even leave some definitions at the end of each story for the reader to know what a certain word means. I would definitely recommend this for people looking to improve their Spanish language further.

Workbook is very helpful and challenging at times. Highly recommended for learners!

My Spanish is intermediate (B2), and the book starts off well, but by the middle it has jumped to college level writing. I did like the layout. I did not like the stories. The book was clearly written in Spanish first, and then translated to English. I was able to download the MP3 for free, though it is a little complicated. In the end, I just don't recommend it. This is my least favorite Spanish story book, so far.

I have studied Spanish a few years ago and wanted to find an easy way to continue learning at home. I came across this book and decided to give it a try. It didn't make it easy at first as my Spanish vocabulary was not very rich. However, it did become easier with every story I read, as I managed to learn more every time. The book has translation of some of the words straight after the story, so I didn't have to use my dictionary much, and it also had a translation in English of each story. This book could be suitable for beginner level of Spanish if the stories were made even shorter and simpler in the beginning of the book. I recommend this book if you are a self-learner and if you are ready to invest time in expanding your vocabulary in Spanish.

The book is great. Just what a beginner would dream about. Simple dialogues that make you remember the vocabulary and sentence structure. There are words translated into English under each passage. Working with the book is a real pleasure.

Great book for anyone learning Spanish. Would recommend this book.
