Great first spindle
I'm new in CNC world, but I was so frustrated with this tiny 775 spindle on Genmitsu 4040 Pro. First I bought Makita router but it's not designed to work for hours at time. I found this spindle (800W) and gave it a try. I learnt that it won't work without VFD - so I ordered it too (1.5kW). I watched couple of YT videos how to hook it up and it worked great out of box. Wires are clearly marked so it's difficult to mess up connection. Then I had to 3D print adapter for my 69mm genmitsu dust shoe (spindle is very tall comparing to even makita).I only tried it on wood (pine, maple, cedar), but with 1/4" end mill it cuts through wood like butter at 15mm/s 2mm deep at 15000rpm. This is such an improvement over stock 775 spindle and even Makita router. I'm happy with this purchase.

Nice powerful spindle at a nice price.
I was looking for a spindle for my CNC machine. This is almost identical to the one sold by the CNC company in every way except lasered markings. It arrived quickly and well packed to protect it - it's a fairly heavy item for its size. It powered up smoothly, and I took it through a slow run-in process as recommended to warm up the bearings and distribute the grease. The run-out is indetectable on my dial gauges once warmed up, and it cuts powerfully through hardwood, limited by the bit - not the spindle. It runs warm, not hot, under reasonable load on hardwood, and it is pretty quiet under load (the VFD fan is far noisier than the spindle). Very satisfied with it so far.

It's ok.
For the price, it's not bad.Quiet, works well with a Huanyang VFD.My runout is .101mm cold, and .121mm after a 20 minute warmup at 20,000rpm.I'm not building the space shuttle here so it is acceptable. Marginally better than then trim router it replaced in my hobby CNC. I'm satisfied with it because of the Gcode control I now have.

Does what it’s supposed to do.
I can’t get any measurable runout on the unit I received after a couple of months using it mainly to cut aluminum. It does run kind of hot at times when I’m really pushing it. If I could go back I would have opted for the water cooled version instead, especially when cutting plastics and stone! The fan really likes to spread your work all over the area unless you have decently high airflow behind or under your bed. This of course pulls dust and debris towards all of your rails though 😆. Just keep that in mind when deciding on the air cooled version.
