This is really what I wanted for my ring door bell. However, the cover is too big for my space to put the cpver.

Deff waterproof
Only thing is it took a lot of my precision away after using with the ring camera. I have no roof or awning so my ring camera is in full Sun. This deff works well and very sturdy

Sturdy; narrows the view; issues with night vision
Overall this is a good looking and sturdy unit, a bit on the expensive side for what it is. I use Blink door bell camera. Some issues include it narrowing the vision about 30% and night vision becoming somewhat limited due to reflection on the metal. If the unit would be bigger, it could improve that.

Heavy duty. Works with video door bell.
The media could not be loaded. I got this shroud to go on my fence over my video doorbell. It's not waterproof and I needed something to keep the rain off of it. This works great.This shroud is pretty heavy duty. I can't flex it with my hands. The metal is solid.It is a good size to allow your hand to reach in comfortably. It doesn't interfere with my door bell at all. I'd recommend it.

Blocks view
Beware buying this product, it blocks out the majority of the camera view, in fact it blocks out a big part of the panoramic view, which makes the camera useless.

Blocks a lot of the view of the doorbell camera. Tried to cut the sides down and it fell apart. Cheap welds

I installed this cover over brick. Next thing, the cover released from the mount all the way around. DO NOT BUY.
