I bought this as a gift for my mom. I had no idea the exact size. Since they don't seem to have measurements anywhere. You guys need to fix that. Because so many other brands are much smaller than you'd think. I was worried this was another one. The best I could go by was the size of the girl in the photo, but who knows, that could have been a kid sized gal. I took a chance anyway. And I'm pleased to say it's quite large and roomy for the squirrels. And easy to clean. It's very sturdy and looks much nicer than the other brand I bought her a few years ago. I'm very happy with it and my mom really liked it. The hole seems a bit smaller for her fat overfed squirrels, but who knows, I'm sure they can squeeze in, or chew the hole bigger if they can't. Please put all the measurements on your page, and make them easy to see and find at the top.

This is bigger than I anticipated, which is good. Seems well made. I only wonder if the wooden surface will hold up. Since we just put it up and no squirrels have made it home yet, I will wait to see if they adopt it. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Arrived in great condition. Love the embossed American flag and squirrel. I applied a light cedar stain with water seal, so it will stay beautiful and last longer. Added leaves in the bottom and strapped it to my tree. Took four months for a squirrel to discover it, but he seems to like his new home.

We had a male and a female squirrel go into the house fifteen minutes after we hung it on our ash. They spent the night in the house and the next morning started filling the house with sticks and leaves. Several weeks later they had four kids. The mom would stay in the house wile the dad chased other squirrels away from the house and now 4/7/2024 they are out on the tree exploring. 1.This squirrel house is amazing because it has a deck witch the squirrels love 2.It also has a bord inside that the squirrels like to gnaw on. 3.the board inside next to the entrance the kids like to stick their heads out wile still being in the house. It also saved the squirrels life a thew times from a raccoon that visits the tree often. And during a snow storm it helped the snow to not get in the house.4. The slanted roof helps keep the inside of the house dry and cozy.5.I fell like this house is perfectly well built so I give it 6 instead of 5 stars. please lets us know any other squirrel houses that you guys think we should getThank you thank you thank you .

These Squirrel boxes are beautiful and seem sturdy. Make sure you check the space you are planning on placing it though... This box is really big and needs a big tree or wall space. Also, to return it it costs $19.95

My second order from this seller and I am as happy as I was with the first one. I have a total of 3 of the houses now. These squirrel houses are made very sturdy and are a nice addition to any back yard. I am thinking of filling in the wood burned outline of the squirrel with outdoor glossy paint. I think it will look awesome on the tree in front of my house.

Cute squirrel house, but three concerns I have. First issue is that the inside should have another shelf for the squirrel to jump down/up in. It’s a large drop from the first and only shelf (second picture). Second issue is the door that lifts up only has a latch on one side (first picture, latch is located on the bottom right of the house), which makes the door shut unevenly. Third issue is that the entrance doesn’t have a secure place for the squirrel to sit without being attacked by birds (third picture). We placed a piece of plastic in front of it, but birds can still get in from one side. We are looking to add onto the front to make it more secure for the squirrels. There was no assembly required, which was a good thing! Not sure how the wood will hold up to our Alaskan weather, but only time will tell us that. We may have to add a protective coat to it.

I was so pleased to see the high quality of this house, especially since it holds my precious rescue squirrels safely and warm in colder months, it's also very large which gives them plenty of room to snuggle several in there
