The old plastic with spring-loaded piece in our toilet paper holder broke after more than a dozen years of use. So, I ordered a different product that was much too short to reach across our standard-sized toilet paper brackets. Then, I ordered this one. It is far better crafted and fits perfectly! It is plastic, so, it won't last forever, probably but was a great replacement for the one we had.

Absolute necessity for the bathroom. Without this, toilet tissue roll is impossible to wrestle when it is needed most.

The toilet paper holder in my apartment was installed too far apart so the roller would constantly fall out. This longer one solved that!

Finally, I have found a toilet paper rod that fits my toilet paper holder and doesn't fall out constantly. After spending money on replacement rods that were really too small to hold toilet paper in the holder I currently have I was so happy to find this 7" rod on Amazon. The extra expense definitely worth this well made product.

More than wide enough for a standard-width toilet paper holder, and easy to install in a standard-width holder.As advertised, the spring is attached to the two plastic pieces, and won't spring apart the way the one this is replacing does.I might have liked something that felt more sturdy and substantial. This definitely isn't flimsy, but might have liked a bit more sturdiness.

I bought this to replace a broken toilet paper holder that broke. This one is a longer than standard size which is what I needed. Be sure to measure.

Both of my mothers non standard toilet roll holders in the bathroom and cloakroom had the rollers broken for a long time, The ones you buy in hardware shops DON'T FIT. Although these are a bit expensive, they do fit. Plastic, so you do need to be careful, not to lean on them.
