Disappointment after wearing in ocean
I wear a 9-9.5 so I bought a M high cut. The Pink and purple flora are super cute and fit perfectly when I bought them.Worked great on the sand and protected my feet but after wearing them in the ocean a few times they stretched way out and were floppy on my feet. The Lycra didn't bounce back. I couldn't wear them any more. The Lycra also snagged because with the Velcro.

Way too thin, neoprene portion is minimal, durability questioned
This was my first time purchasing and testing fin socks. I needed them for a week's trip of open water swimming several miles per day. First, they were they too small, despite having tried medium and large, and despite feet shrinking a bit in the cold water. Though my foot fits in the sock, the neoprene protection on the toes didn't cover my toes fully, and I expected it to at least go to where the ball of my foot begins. The rest of the sock is very thin, like a thin windbreaker or thick pantyhose. I tried them with my fins and I immediately felt the pressure from the strap, which definitely would have caused painful rubbing after a day or two. I returned them and instead purchased full neoprene socks on Amazon that were just perfect but about twice the price; those full neoprene ones are totally worthwhile and I have no doubt they'll be much more durable and they also kept my feet warmer. I wouldn't trust these to even walk on the beach without looking down, as even a delicate sharp object would likely cause pain. These socks came with a note from the seller indicating that if I wasn't happy, they would refund me and I could keep the socks as long as I didn't leave negative feedback. No wonder there are so many positive reviews.

Comfortable and well made
I love these for my intended purpose. I wear them like socks inside my warm water booties for scuba diving. They reduced the chafing that I can sometimes get from my fin straps and just made my feet feel more snug and comfortable. The velcro strap is way too big, but it wasn't an issue for my use. I did 26 consecutive dives with them in Cozumel and they still look brand new.

Get what you pay for...cheap
The sole of the "sock" is a slightly thicker material similar to a mechanics glove, a cheap one. It is oddly shaped (see photo) and really narrow. I ordered a small according to the size chart and the width of the sole was sooo wrong. Even a small was real tight on the toes but long in the heal, not sure how that's possible. The rest of the "sock" is made of a cheap rash guard type material and the ankle Velcro is very poorly stitched. How these things have 4 -5 star reviews is beyond me. Maybe the fact they're so cheap...

Like a 2nd set of skin but water sox.
These were great for our trip to the coral reef, we didn't step on any coral and didnt feel any creepy crawly things under our feet with these and but were still able to swim in them. My partners were able to walk easily on the street with them and they didnt tear or rip. They were not worn on the street the whole day, just for about a half hour but they could be fine as water shoes and great for the beach. Still have the little bumpy things at the soles of the socks. More like the best thinnest water shoes!

Quality construction , very comfortable, highly recommended
I took these to Australia for some extensive diving and they were amazing. I'm a shoe size 9 in women's and I ordered a medium. They were a base layer under my dive boots and prevented rubbing and discomfort during diving and kept my feet warm during hour+ day and night dives. I also ended up wearing them under my thick neoprene water boots as they rubbed hot spots during beach treks, the socks immediately solved the problem . The reinforced construction and Velcro top strap kept them in place and they show no wear after strenuous daily use over a two week trip. I did hand wash and line dry nightly, but that's standard care for dive gear.

Comfortable fit and lightweight
The BPS lycra fin socks fit as advertised (true to size) and are very comfortable to wear. The lycra on the top fits a bit loose which adds to the comfort but this may not be the desired effect once in water. I suspect they will fall off even with the velcro wrap. The padding on the sole also adds to the comfort. They are not "over-padded" and are very light weight (2.6 oz for the pair). Although not meant for this purpose, I tried wearing them my Keen water shoes but they were too bulky for that purpose. The stitching is a bit scratchy around the perimeter of the foot but this may be normal for fin socks combining neoprene and lycra. Overall I'm happy with the purchase but I think the price is too high for the quality. I've bought other lycra-only fin socks without the padding for about $6.00 less than these.
