Works perfect
Super sticky, used to attach number plates. prepped the surface with the provided alcohol wipe and it worked brilliantly. Super strong, high quality and good value for money.

Genuine Scotch brand 👌
Bought to attach side skirts to my car. Usually when I order 3M tape from Amazon, it’s questionable whether it’s legit or not, but happy to confirm this is the real deal 👌 sticks like napalm to kids 😂 did the job well and good value for the huge roll you get. No complaints

Has many uses.
This double-sided adhesive tape is self-explanatory, really. It comes on a roll with waxed paper protectors on the faces of the roll to keep the edges clean and to prevent it sticking to the bag and other surfaces. Both surfaces of the tape are protected by a single strip of film, and peeling the tape off the roll exposes one side, ready to stick to the work piece. I used a short length to fix a pair of lighter sockets to the underside of a redundant ashtray in my old car. As there was little weight involved, I was able to remove the film from the back of the tape and complete the job in one go. For more demanding tasks, it is advisable to wait twenty-four hours for the bond to reach maximum strength before applying the full load. It might be difficult to do this in the case of dash cameras and in similar situations where the weight can't be supported while the bond cures. The adhesion, though is very strong immediately, and opportunities for repositioning are limited. Some thick double-sided tapes have a tendency to let go slowly over a period of time, especially when the load is off-centre, and/or with some types of plastic. I found this to be the case with roller-blind brackets that would stay up for weeks and then unexpectedly peel off. This was solved with the addition of a small screw at the top. I haven't tried this 3M Scotch tape in this situation, but it will have its limits, so it's probably best with low and medium loads if used alone. The foam itself will also fail if overloaded, but used sensibly, this is a brilliant product with multiple uses. This sixteen-feet-long, one inch wide roll currently costs £12.99.

Super sticky
Great product that I am still finding uses for. Adhesive grabs quick and sets solid over night. So far used on trunking and around the car and to keep a curtain rail up in the bathroom. Getting the backing off is tricky to start but once you can get a bit up it peels off clean.

Quality tape from a well known manufacturer
Purchased to replace some existing double sided tape on our campervan that had failed, we needed something we could rely on and knew 3M to be a quality manufacturer of adhesives. Easily cut to fit being on a reel, it is still working on our exterior application.

Relatively simple to use, good adhesion
This is a roll of double sided tape described as heavy duty. It’s 16 feet long and 1 inch wide. The tape is easy to take off the roll and stick to whatever surface you’re using – it doesn’t curl up which reduces the chances of it sticking to itself. I found it quite fiddley to remove the protective strip once that tape is stuck down, but once you’ve got a corner free the rest is easy. I’ve only used this to refix some window mouldings so far, so it’s not really a challenge for weight bearing uses. Will update review if the fix doesn’t last, but so far so good.
