Stradella Oboe Reed, Medium (OBOEM)

I would avoid buying oboe reeds on amazon, this specific brand, or manufactured reeds in general. I bought 2 reeds; the first reed I noticed right away had a crack on the tip of the reed down and right off the bat I knew that it wouldn't work. The second reed is still coming but I will probably return it.I rated it 3 stars because if you are REALLY desperate for a reed I guess you can buy it.If you really want this reed, I would recommend this to children or MAYBE beginners. Next fall I'll be attending a university and I needed reeds fast because I ran out of reeds. I didn't even try playing on the cracked reed and I might play on the one that is soon coming.

My son loves these reeds. Tbey perform better than the ones at the local music shop.

First of all, this product was at least 2 weeks late. when i finally got it, it was chipped and not even the right kind. it came in red string and it was supper small and chipped. VERY upset. I needed this for a concert and i was forced to play my bassoon.

The price was good but the reeds split a lot sooner than previous brands I have purchased.

I bought this oboe reed for my 7th grade daughter. The oboe reed arrived cracked. My daughter also said the thickness/texture was off (her words were uncharacteristically lumpy), and it tasted bad. I would not buy this brand of oboe reed again.

DO NOT BUY THESE REEDS. Mine was completely split down both sides when I bought it. Complete waste of money.
