Good Comedy
There was a lot of dark humor. There wasn't any female nudity, only male. I think someone edit this. I'm not sure.

The word is overused but it's hilarious.
Better than you think. Way better.

Very Funny and Not Woke!
Mr Cohen has the guts try outrageous humor, and it works. I don't want to give any spoilers, but this one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

Masterful Political & Social Satire
Every satirist needs a full quiver of arrows in their war on idiocy, and Sacha Baron Cohen’s sidesplitting post-“Borat” film “The Dictator” only serves to further cement Cohen as our foremost lampooner of the willfully dumb.Deploying his trademark mix of keen insight and bombastic vulgarity, Cohen brings to life Admiral General Aladeen, ruthless ruler of North African oil state Wadiya. When he’s not enriching uranium in pursuit of nukes, he wins competitive sprints by shooting competitors and race officials. Yet once he’s abducted by America’s lunatic security chief (an inspired John C. Reilly), our dictator gets stripped of his power, money, and beard. In a mellifluous twist, Aladeen turns to altruistic feminist Zoey (Anna Farris) and scorned scientist Nadal (Jason Mantzoukas) to stop his traitorous ex-lieutenant (Ben Kingsley) from turning Wadiya into a democracy.Throughout, Cohen’s outrageous humor leverages sexism and racism to lambaste the ignorance of both, and all while Aladeen evolves into another elite character sketch within Cohen’s growing Pantheon. Provided you’re not reflexively pouty when presented with the paradoxes of satire, you’ll likely recognize “The Dictator” as the masterful comedy movie it is. - (Was this of use? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful." Cheers!)

Digital Copy Expired 8/21/13
Hard to blame the seller for this, I have had this problem before and it's the manufactures fault.I buy movies with the digital copy because I want the digital copy. I have found buying old movies even if they are brand new out of a bargain bin, per say. The digital copy is expired which is false advertisement.I did not receive the digital copy I paid for... regardless if the product was discounted. It's missing something...

Non-PC and Hilarious
Typical Sacha Baren Cohen movie, if you like his acting, you should like this. If you're more on the politically correct side this probably isn't for you as every demographic is fair game in this one and Cohen doesn't hold back.

So politically uncorrect!
I am not usually a fan of Sacha Baron Cohen but he is brilliant in this comedy. He srars as an African Dictator who is summoned to America to address the government about the crimes in his country & to say whether he ha Nuclear Weapons. His loyal aide has other plans for the Dictator & attempts to have him killed.A film they could not make in these days of political correctness! So good & in my humble opinion, well worth watching.

Sledgehammer satire
Despite the poor reception from critics and audiences alike, this is undoubtedly one of the most engaging and hilarious comedies I've ever seen (three times already). By making our anti-hero, Admiral-General Aladeen the most outspoken, insensitive, misogynistic, racist, homophobic character imaginable, the film's shocking crudeness succeeds, where a more subtle treatment would just fall flat. Possibly not to everyone's taste, this comedy had me in stitches throughout (not to mention the two incredibly poignant little episodes that almost had me in tears). Highly recommended.

Kept the kids amused.
It's very silly but my lads found it funny. There are some rude bits with references to masturbation and sex so don't just show it to visiting kids without checking with parents, some people would be offended. Mine (14 and 12) laughed so much and haven't yet turned into society-ruining monsters so I'm fine by it. They still quote from it and fall to pieces. I laughed at some bits, but tired after a while. Then again I'm an old git. Steve Riches, Northampton, UKJ.

Probably should buy it
Old Sacha goes get alot of stick from various sources, and usually with good reason. This film is indeed his typical character with some hilarious parts and... Some not so hilarious. However if you're a fan then it's worth getting for sure. Even if not, it's worth a watch and you haven't lost alot if you don't enjoy it much.Recommend for the price per pound of enjoyment ratio.

Pretty funny
Pretty funny. I did laugh out loud on numerous occasions. No, the humor wasn't vastly sophisticated, maybe, and the 'beating him up with the enormous breasts' scene was fairly hard work but much of the rest of it as so close to reality that it stung pretty much everyone universally, I would say. Worth £3 of anyone's money
