Definitely skeptical of the price. Product arrived quickly, I replaced the original power pack with this one, turned the key and the boat fired up like a new machine.

80hp Mercury with a miss
1978 80hp Mercury outboard with a hesitation when firing - can't figure it out yet -- thought I'd start with the switchbox --the Arieltek is doing fine - did not correct the problem though -- I'm thinking stator now. Coils are good - new plugs - new rectifier = fuel system and carbs have been gone through ---

Like factory part, 1995 force 120 outboard, specific serial number!! Engine has the hottest spark I've seen out of a outboard. So far so good!!

Easily fixed by wrapping electrical tape near end of connectors
Terminals were recessed such that 2 of the electrical connectors from the trigger grounded out, causing no fire on 2 cylinders. Easily fixed by wrapping electrical tape near end of connectors; then it worked well. Much less expensive than OEM Mercury part & worth buying.
