Mainstay Entertainment Center for TVs up to 55" (Storage Cubes are not Included) (Black, 55")

It was quick to set up, the instruction seemed intimidating at first but they sent ended up being easy to follow.The finished piece is just slightly wobbly but as soon as my glue dries (I used my own extra strength glue) I expect it to be nice and sturdy.My only complaint, the shelf boards were too short and did not fit properly on the pegs. I feel like heavy electronics will make the shelves slip/break pegs holes so I will be reinforcing that.

Altogether, decent buy. I had to stare an inaccurate image of one of the pieces until I figured out what was going to go where.Not enough wood glue for all the wood dowels, I'd recommend having a bottle on hand.

Unfortunately, mine arrived broken. There was a hole straight into the middle of the bottom piece of wood. Luckily it was on the bottom. I couldn’t return due to the box being broken. Would I ever spend this much on it again? NO. The shelves under the tv do NOT stay in place. The tiny little metal knobs do not hold the shelves in place whatsoever. In the pic it’s not silly organized because I’m waiting for my grandfather to come and “reinforce” those shelves. I love the concept of it SOOO much. I just feel like I wasted too much money on it unfortunately. I suggest it if you’re willing to take a risk. But I wouldn’t do it again…

I'm happy with this, I will say it will fit a larger TV than advertised, this tv in the picture is 54 inches and has room for maybe even a 65 inch(sorry pic is so dark it was late). Now as for building it, I as a average fitness and mental capabilities was able to accomplish this for the most part on my own but with my husband coming to helped we finished in about 2 hrs with a few breaks to take care of our son. Sturdiness I would say right now I'm happy with it and have no complaints. Good luck and I hope it works for you. Hugs and love

Looks great and is very sturdy - I think wall units ( entertainment centers) these days are extremely costly but I bought it anyway- I needed one and wanted black- love the grain and looks rich

Loving everything about my new entertainment center it is great. Putting it together with kind of tedious but I finally got it done without any help.

Very good sized, shelves dont want to stay in place but we are gluing it to see if it works, sturdy but the reason I am giving it a 3 star rating is because the bottom piece had a nick in it going almost all the way through.
