Even though they are large pills they are very easy to swallow.

I take l-lysine with a plethora of other supplements to keep my joints and ligaments and what not in good shape. I’ve had troubles in the past with tendinitis, slipped disks, and other sports related injuries. I like to work out and I’m very active. I attribute my recent success in avoiding injury and sickness to my current supplement cocktail, which this is a part of. Good stuff.

A friend suggested I take this to reduce the frequency of cold sore outbreaks (herpes simplex) on my lips or near the mouth. Since I've been taking it (according to directions on the bottle) I rarely get an outbreak (maybe 1 or 2 per year) and when I do, it is only 1 or 2 blisters, not the huge clusters I previously experienced. I really recommend this product!

Prefer the caplets over the tablets, not nearly as dusty. Quality is good and it must be working, I'm losing less hair during my infusion treatments, so yay!

On Doctors advice, several friends in my community combined L-Lysine, Zinc Sulfate and 4,000 IU of D3 daily for 8 months. Results being that nobody got the virus, but 2 non-participants did. Coincidence?? Doubt it.
