Super easy to install and typical Leviton quality. Exactly what I needed to wire up a 30A/240V circuit for my 60gal air compressor. Oh and this was about 1/3 the price then at the local hardware store wanted for lower quality outlets!

Fits BOTH single and 2-Gang box styles!
I wasn't sure I was going to be able to cram this into a single gang box, but low and behold, I was EASILY able to fit it in with plenty of room to spare! I was pleased to see that I could use it for both single and duel gang boxes. That's a very useful option to have. Overall, I'm VERY pleased with this plug! I tested it after installation and all is in perfect working order!

Easy to install
Easy to install. The bozos who built my house put a range outlet for the dryer. Didn't notice until I went to buy a new dryer. Bought this and was able to install it very easily. If you are replacing a dryer outlet on a pre-1996 home, make sure the cable going to the outlet has all 4 wires (hot, hot, neutral, ground) and that both the neutral and ground are connected at the circuit breaker panel. If there is only the 2 hots and 1 ground, buy the older 3 prong style instead.

Quality Leviton receptacle
Quality Leviton receptacle, new in box. Great price, and no megastore visit hassle. Electrician had installed incorrect 50A variant. This 30A device is proper for 4-wire dryers and fixed the problem.
