Details & First Impressions
Okay, first things first - the missing specifications. The 1/8oz spoon, minus hook & split rings, is about 1 1/8" long, while the 1/4oz spoon is about 1/2" longer at 1 7/8" long. With hooks & split rings, the 1/8oz spoon is roughly 1 7/8" long and the 1/4oz spoon roughly 2 3/8" long. Both spoons are a good size for trout, panfish, and similar.Quality and workmanship seem top notch. No visible defects or imperfections. The hooks and split rings are good, with the spoon surfaces buffed to an almost mirror-like shine. Nevertheless, I replaced the front split rings with ball bearing snap swivels (probably not necessary, but my preference) to allow maximum movement in the water.Overall, at this price for the set, they're certainly a worthwhile addition to my tackle box. Kastmaster fans seem threatened by that. Regardless, if I can keep them off the bottom, untangled, they should last me a while and help me catch some more fish.

Now if I could only catch a fish.LOL

Pretty good
They spin well on a cheap swivel and good base for tails with smell. Didn't get any attention used alone, but to be fair it was with spooky trout after a busy holiday weekend on that lake. Never meant to use them alone anyway.

Close enough
Definitely doesn't cast as far as Kastmasters, but they are a economical alternative. The action in the water is good. They are worth having in any tackle box, especially since it is cheap.Update: Caught a 15 inch Brown Trout on the blue and chrome Kastaway (1/8). Works and is cheap enough that I'm not scared to lose them which makes me fish more diverse areas of the water. My wallet and fish both like Kastaways.

Good product, but price could be better.
Good product, not worth the price in my opinion. Quality is very good from what I can tell, but a bit smaller than expected.

Spoon Lures
the lures look great and have held up well. I have used them the last few times i have gone out and unfortunately have not caught anything with them yet. I can attest to the fact that the hooks are quite sharp though. I caught myself on one of them while taking my pole out of the car.

Very effective for shore fishing in the Gulf
I bought these lures for my 10 year old for our trip to Sarasota Florida. He has never fished before and I did a little pond fishing when I was a kid so we were both novices. I did some research and found that spoons are good lures for shore Gulf fishing. My son was on the shore practicing his casting techniques in an area that is not supposed to have a lot of fish and caught a 15 inch Whitening fish.

Just as good as kastmasters but much cheaper
Kastmasters are usually 3-5 bucks in the store and these work just as well imho and are much cheaper. I find I'm willing to be more daring with fishing them near cover or structure (because I'm not as concerned about losing them) and as a result I get into more fish. It's a pack too so yknow you can lose a few and still have something left to fish
