Overall, a very solid product but not a true 24-rod capacity.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this product, and must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by several aspects of the product:- The design is solid, light, and very stable.- Quality of the materials seems high.- "Fit and Finish" is very good, and the finished product presents a professional appearance. Parts fit together tightly.Room for improvement:- Assembly: Many of the parts fit together SO tightly that they require a fair amount of force to assemble. Close tolerances are great, but it's possible to take that a little far...- The instructions could use some callouts to ensure customers are aware of how things need to be aligned before assembly is begun. I recommend studying the photos before you start so you avoid mistakes. Because the parts fit together so tightly, you'll find it hard to get them apart if you make a mistake. When you insert the pillars into the bases, make sure the slots are 90 degrees from the feet. (If the feet are oriented north-south, the slots should be east or west so that the slots face INWARD when the rack shelf is mounted.)Be sure you have the foam rests oriented in the right direction before you put the end brackets on, as those will be nearly impossible to remove later. The foam faces INWARD on the lower shelf, and OUTWARD on the upper shelf.- Capacity is over-rated. If you like to keep the reels on the rods, and like to keep the types of rods grouped together, (casting, spinning, trolling, etc), you'll find it challenging to get 24 rods on this rack in a way that makes them readily accessible. Notice that in their product photo, there are 12 rods, but only 8 reels. You'll need to creatively mix reel types and blank rods in order to fit 24 rods on this rack. It would be great in a retail outlet where reels aren't mounted, but it's tight if you like to leave your reels mounted (and who doesn't?).Overall, I would buy and recommend this product again, but would be careful to set expectations about capacity up front.

Product Development Failure
So in theory, this is a lightweight, easy-to-install, innovative fishing rod holder. It was very well-marketed on Amazon, and there were a large number of 5-star reviews. I really wanted this product to perform as advertised because it is actually a really good idea. But since I rely on customer reviews in my purchasing decision-making. I feel compelled to review this product. The high-level design of the product is solid. The ingenuity in conceptualizing the finished product and creating the components was spot on. The instruction manual is clear, and it seemed like it should be a quick and easy assembly. Unfortunately the assembly was a sadistic puzzle where the pieces look like they should fit, and just don't. The "face plates" are supposed to "slide into the base" and I ended up taking a hammer to them to get them to stay in place. The frustrating part is that I hit one side with the hammer and the other side pops out like a whack-a-mole game. I was not able to solidly connect these pieces. The frame connections with the "bullet balls" are a fiasco, and the upper and lower supports are janky and uneven. The adjustment "button" system with the screws are awkward, and have to be aligned just right to fit into the pillar. Finally, the handle was too big to fit properly between the upper support and I had to bend it to get it attached. Once the assembly was finished and the final product sat before me, I can't help but imagine it falling apart the first time that I try to put 12 rods in it and move it more than a few inches. The problem appears that there was absolutely no end-user testing and feedback integrated into the product development process. The idea was a good one, but there seems that an assumption was made that all the pieces will fit together properly in a simple installation process without actually validating. If that's not true (and testing was actually done), then the quality control on the component manufacturing is so bad that the process should be scrapped and started again from scratch.I'm sending this back and looking for a different product. I feel that I was duped into spending +$50 for something that would end up in the garbage can within a few months. Hopefully the manufacturer will make improvements, or this is definitely a buyer beware scenario.

Hold the rods adequately. Could do with being a touch wider
Not too bad. Hold the rods adequately. I think this is more aimed at spinning rods rather than carp/pike rods and if you have the thicker cork handles then it can be a squeeze. An extra couple of inches across the width would have been a useful addition to this rack but still is by far the best I have ever used. 24 rods will not fit into this unless they are 6 ft spinning rods either and probably need to be left as 1 piece to do that.Keep the rods I do store in there clean and tidy though

A must have item for any self respecting tackle tart
I keep my 7 bass lure rods in this. It's a simple idea, lightweight and keeps the rods out of harms way. I keep the reels on the rods for storage. Ideal for rods of this type. Fits together easily. Moved about without any effort.
