This device will change your life! Our neighbors dogs wouldn't allow us to go in our own backyard or even look out our window without going nuts. The barking was insane. We tried water, airhorns, etc. Then I found this little house. Its been two weeks and now they are the best behaved little dogs you ever saw. They just sit there relaxed and look at us as if saying hello how are you.UPDATE 1: After about a month the barking picked up again. I changed the battery and the neighbors dogs went right back to bring good quiet dogs. I mountvit with 4 little dabs of clear silicone onto to top of our block wall column closest to where the dogs always bark.When I put it back out after changing the battery I did a test. I walked out there with the device turned off. Sure enough the two Tasmanian Devils went nuts just like before. While they were barking like nuts and snarling and jumping at the wall I turned on the device. They IMMEDIATELY stopped.This thing works exactly as advertised. Maybe those people giving it poor reviews didn’t give it enough time to train the dogs to stop barking.UPDATE 2: The party is over. Not for the dogs, for us. Now it’s May and while one of the dogs still isn’t barking anymore, the other one apparently prefers barking and hearing the ultrasonic siren to not barking at all. That S.O.B. has returned to his old ways. We can’t set a toe in our backyard with the gestapo dog charging out his doggie door and barking incessantly.I can tell the siren is working too. So that dog just doesn’t give a damn.

I got this to prevent our next door neighbor's dog from barking. They had one dog that constantly barked up a storm when he saw people from far away or just wanted to be a nuisance like their owners. When I heard they were getting an equally as annoying second dog, I looked into getting a silencer. This little box shines a green laser light, which is noticeable at night. It was a hit or miss whether the dog was affected or if the silencer made a high pitched noise, but apparently it annoyed it enough to stop barking near it. This product didn't completely stop the barking, but at least it did some of the time. The dogs eventually went to their other next door neighbor, on the opposite side of the yard, and was less frequent to my shared side with them.

It is a great idea for this product it worked for the first week and I got a replacement and the replacement is starting to show problems which is a bummer because it was helping our dog that had the nuisance barking I was really happy with product when we first tried it don't think I would try it a third time

It does a great job of responding to the dog that my next door neighbors have trained to bark all day, but it doesn't cause the dog to shut up. I think this would work great if it were MY dog barking, but I always train my dogs not to bark so I don't need this for my dog. I think the issue is the closest I could place it was about 7 meters from their dog. Probably works fine for your own dog, but of course with your own dog you can train them not to bark with a squirt gun and water in a day or two, so why buy this?.

This dog barking deterrent birdhouse did not work for us. I tried using it on my across the street neighbors three chichi's. The distance was fine but there was also we days a car parked in front. I assume it was "blocking" the ultrasonic goods.Waited to long to return. Now I'm stuck with it.

It hangs crooked because of where the hole is in the chimney. I was hoping it would be effective at more than 50 feet, but it is not. That was my fault, the mfg. did say 50 feet but I am desperate to find a way to get the neighbor's mutts to chill out!

Very nice barker breaker. Overal I think it works pretty good. I have 5 Golden’s and every time one barks, the noise goes off & they stop barking. Except for 2 of my dogs. It doesn’t seem to bother them but does the others. The batteries (bought separately) last about 3 weeks of out on medium.

After several months of my 15 yr old outside dog barking all night long every night and having tried everything anyone suggested, including my vet prescribing seligiline for doggy dementia, I hope and pray this is the solution!! It arrived yesterday, I got it set up and lastnight she barked for about an hour then no barking the rest of the night!! I was doubtful that it would work but it certainly seems to. I will post an update later to see if it continues to help.... hoping and praying and looking forward to getting a good night's sleep again! Seller responded promptly to product question and offered full refund if it didn't work for her.
