My 10 year old mini jump box was held together with rubber bands and duct tape. It was taking multie crank attempts to get my vehicle going. It was cold the other morning and all I it could muster was a single CLICK sound each time I turned the key. I check the percentage of power left after five clicks and it was in the 39s. It must have not held the charge for four days, and I knew I had to replace itSo I went to Amazon and ordered this one, looking forward to not having to worry about being on time for work any moreIt came on time, the next day and was virtually completely charged, but I still plugged it in to get to 109%.I went out to test it and this time, I didn't even get the click the old one could do. I did remember that when I had this hooked to both terminals there was a little noise that it seems to make.Well, a read of the manual AT THE VERY END (GRRRRRR!) it say it can det CT how much voltage the car battery has and if it is below 3 it will turn off the jump start function. So t chemically it's both a door stop and a cell phone charge but most certainly is not a car jump starter box.I figure I will attach and turn all my old pitiful box as well as keep the new one attached and perhaps it will be enough to pr vent to shut down, but no cigar.I did the only thing I could do and tried the old box which was at 34%. I got the click and sometime.es more. I kept trying, but waiting a bit I. Between tries. Well one of the tries started the vehicle.It was too cold to do that previously, but it was warm out so that made the difference. I have to give this POS back.I have owned many jump start boxes starting with ones that had it's on dolly. Never was there a feature that ahuts the damn thing off.RIDICULOUS. At the very least put that every prominently in the data so we know better than to waste I time.
