Great wargame fodder!
Bought this and the BMC Saipan set to try wargaming in 1/32 rather than 1/72-20mm. Figures have good detail and period accurate uniforms / equipment. For this purpose, these figures are excellent.

Cheap, but not "Cheapy"!
I am very impressed with this set. For the price, I expected something very "cheapy", but it's not. The thing I love most about it is that the flag only has 48 stars on it, which is actually accurate for the time period!! I used this as a cake topper for my son's Iwo Jima themed cake and he LOVED it!! The pieces are fairly well detailed for a cheap set.

Great detail.
Nothing like having the Iowa Jima flag raising statue as a plastic model to add to your collection. Figures are highly detailed and have many different poses that brings the battle scene to life.

My 10-year-old is just amazing at how accurate and detailed these army guys are. He makes sure to count each one when he cleans up. Well worth the money and came quickly.
