Whenever I was squatting in the gym, all you could hear was “cajsbkw akduid dniebie” from my knees and my homie would laugh at me. He told me I should start taking collagen. As a Muslim I can’t just take normal collagen cause it’s not halal. Found this marine one and it checks out. I’ve been taking it for over a year now, not daily but consistently enough and I definitely feel the difference. My joints feel better. It’s supposed to be good for skin, hair and nails as well. I’ve like it so far, ordered another one. I take it when I remember.

I had been using another brand of collagen that was much more expensive. I liked that this one is sourced from fish, as I don't eat red meat, which is the source of another top brand of collagen supplement. If this is an issue for you, look for the word "marine" in the product name. The Youtheory label will also have an image of a colorful fish on it, as opposed to a tree. The pills are huge. You may want to consider using a pill splitter. Usually I take two in the mornings. The recommended dosage is more, but most of the time I forget. In spite of this, I have noticed that my skin looks lustrous, especially upon awakening. It is smooth and almost glowing. I wear less makeup and sometimes forget to use under eye concealer, because I don't notice that I need to much of the time. I am 57 years old and take good care of my skin anyway, but can attest that my face looks younger and more vibrant than when I began taking collagen less than a year ago. This brand is at least as good or better than the Standard Process, which is what I started with. A side benefit, only because I didn't notice it originally, is that I no longer experience occasional aches and pains in a knee or elbow; I freely admit to taking these for vanity, but appreciate that it is helping my joints. Notice the plethora of information that is included in the on-line description of the product - this is good to know, especially if you are not up to speed on what collagen is or does. Many people seem to notice improvement in fingernails and hair while taking collagen. I have to say that I don't really notice any difference in hair, but it could actually be working. My nails have always been a problem with either breaking, splitting, peeling, or just being too thin. Presently, my nail beds appear healthier than before, but I cannot say that the collagen assists in their growth. However, who cares when it makes your skin look so fabulous? It's a small price to pay for something that makes looking in the mirror a pleasure.

fyi has a good amount of vitamin b in it for anyone sensitive to b vitamins

Very easy to swallow , those that say its hard to swallow must have narrow throats.My wife only takes 2 pills per day and all her knee pains went away . I personally take 4 to 5 a day .

Despite the negative reviews about pill size and difficulty to swallow it, I decided to give it a try. It’s true that it’s probably the worst pill to swallow I ever had to deal with but I knew what I was going for so that was ok but to me the worst is what’s stated on the label : “consuming this product can expose you to lead, a chemical known to cause reproductive harm”. How come is this legal to sell?Not to mention product composition with Tilapia, the worst fish ever. I would never buy this again, I’m trashing those.
