Traditional Indian Bead and Leather Crafts Paperback – March 1, 1987

The book has basic information on leather working and beading, is an easy read, has pictures and patterns for pouches, I already made 3 pouches (mini pouches) using leather scraps, I just had to adjust the size. It also has some history of what were the pouches used for, not much though, but it gives you an idea. It only has four pictures in color and the rest are in black and white, patterns for nine different pouches, one knife sheath, and an awl case.

Good book. The author makes the instructions easy to follow. The only bad thing I noticed was the pattern for the leather pouch is smaller than the directions say it should be, but nothing tells you this. Good instructions to put the bags together and do the beadwork.

I never read it was bought as gift, the person really like it.

this book has lots of designs.If your looking for traditional designs and some good photos too.I recommend this book

The instructions are simply written and easy to follow. The designs are colorful and reflects Native American designs. It is limited in the number of products you can make using the book.

Interesting types of leather pouches. reputable seller. will purchase from again, Item as described.

Fabulous, Native American examples which can be easily made, will look good with my paint-horse !
