I bought this as I had people stealing eggs from my front porch. I pay for the year subscription and chose the option to keep videos for a 7 day period instead of the 30 day period. So far I love it! It has great quality and alerts to any activity around the camera! I would definitely recommend this camera!

These camera works great, however after while the solar part of it does not work. However, the DC power works as a alternative.

This camera is AWESOME.... You will NOT be disappointed with the price, quality, and value that you get. The price is spot on. As most cameras the housing is plastic but is well built and has good rubber seals for the power switch and solar connection. The quality of the camera pictures and video is excellent. You can move the camera in any direction and even zoom in/out. The night vision and the audio conversations with anyone on site where the camera is has no issues. We have the Big Brother to this camera that runs on cellular service and there is NO difference on quality or performance between the two. Multiple pictures show day pictures with the camera. One is looking at a blue home which is about 1/4 mile away. there is a picture at night at the end. During the winter with snow the batteries held well with limited daylight. Excellent product.Update 10/10/2024- I needed some Custom Service help and Danielle at Customer Service was AWESOME! The Customer Service I received was excellent. Overall, this is a good camera for the price. After fully charging it, setup was easy while following the instruction book and in-app directions. I had it connected to the 2.4G band of my wifi and up and running within minutes. It has a voice prompt that alerts you to the progress and status. Once mounted and connected to the solar panel, I took about an hour to play with it and get used to the app. I found it easy to figure out and configure to my needs. This is for a lake cabin that is not constantly occupied. The purpose is to keep an eye on the boat, snow depth, wildlife, etc.I elected to not subscribe to the available cloud service. Instead, I installed a 128G micro SD card. It is basically the same thing, but without a monthly fee.The live view works great overall, and the PTZ is excellent. Picture quality and color is excellent, both in SD and HD. Sound quality is good. Two-way voice works as intended, and the night spotlight is very bright. Night vision works very good for the coverage area I need. The motion detection has 3 settings, low, medium, and high. Notifications come through to the phone quickly.I have two minor complaints- 1, I’m not a big fan of how the camera mounts, it is mounted whole, there is not a separate mount that screws to the wall, then the camera connects to it so the camera can easily be removed and put back up, as is the case with many similar cams on the market. The entire thing must be removed in the event it needs to be taken down for any reason. 2, build quality could be better. Maybe mine was just a fluke, but one of the antennas broke off when I was folding them into position. I was able to drill a hole in it and put a screw through it, remounting it to the camera body. It seems to be working fine so far, but time will tell… For these two minor complaints, I reduced my review by one star.So far this unit is holding up well in the cold Minnesota winter, the solar panel is keeping it charged and operational so far, despite some single digit and lower overnight temps. I can’t yet report on long term reliability, but so far so good. I’ll update this review if anything comes up.

Bought these types of cameras several time in the past. All of them had to be replaced due to co figuration problems and battery issues.Most recently, the cameras don’t stop moving from side to side or up and down (go all the way to the end). 2 days ago they were stopping so I could view at a particular location or angle. Like I said, “Break easily” save your money

First impression upon unboxing, the camera is very solid build and feel substantial. The micro-sd card slot and power plug are well protected by rubber covers. The connector between the solar panel and camera base is a newer USB-C type. The solar panel comes with long cable and its own mounting post so it can be mounted in a optimal position.When I first plug a USB-C adapter to charge the camera battery, I couldn't find any indications that the camera is getting powered. The LED indicator is actually hidden next to the power switch under another rubber cover. The single sheet insert about the camera hardware is not very detailed.The camera comes with a five language user manual with 15 pages in English. Much more than my other wireless security cameras from Amcrest and ESCAM. Detailed step by step instruction on camera app and troubleshooting.The picture and video qualities are very good. The camera has a motion sensor built-in next to the camera lens. The motion sensing is more reliable. My other cameras rely only on video image for motion detection, which pick a lot of false trigger on tree shadows, especially in windy days.

Kiki did an excellent job helping us troubleshoot our cameras. When she confirmed they were defective, she promptly sent two replacements. I purchased four of these cameras a few years ago, and I’m impressed that Xega truly stands behind their products. I’ll definitely buy from them again.

I bought two - each for front and back. They work well. Picture very clear, even night time. I couldnt charge one on time and it stopped charging altogether. Customer service was very helpful and sent me a new camera.:) Also theyanswer any questions you may have and so far has been very responsive. Value for money..!The only downside to it seems like sometimes the delay to start videoing at time, going to keep a close eye on it. Not a bad purchase, taking everything into consideration..

Value-quality 10 out of 10.Decent video quality when recording in HD. Sensitivity is perfect. Night vision is absolutely amazing, which usually never is with cameras. Easy to set up and solar charged as well. Worth the money!Fantastic customer service, thanks to Kiki.

Funciona perfectamente, su visión, calidad de sonido y movimientos ideal, la compre para vigilar a mi perrita mientras estoy en el trabajo y es fantastica,funciona con WiFi y cogebastante señal aunque la tdngo cerca del router, tambien me graba secuencias de 10 sec cuando hay un movimiento. Tengo 3 más de la misma marca y el servicio técnico es muy bueno , me atendió Annabelle muy rápida en su respuesta y en solucionar cualquier duda o problema, un 10 diez para ella.
