Makes it comfortable to hold.
I purchased the Kindle Oasis so that I could float and read in the pool. The first Kindle cover purchased, ( 21 dollars) had sharp edges that hurt my fingers and made the Oasis too hot. A high temp warning would show up every time I used it. I removed to cover and threw it away, (that annoyed me, big waste of money) and used it without a cover at all. It solved the high temp problem but the Oasis, in my opinion, has a poor design in that it has edges that are too sharp, again hurts your fingers when in use.Soooo, I purchased this cover.Much better.Larger radius on the edges are way more comfortable in the hand.I haven't tried it in the pool yet but being that it is clear I think the heat issue will improve. I'll let you know.

Glove fit
Fits like a glove and it grips will in the hand, so you can still handle the Oasis easily to read.

Clearly helpful
This fits snugly to the oasis - including the back ridge - maintaining the finger hold point back there. The corner bumpers also make nice additional ridges to hold onto. They lift the device a bit so its easier to pick up from a flat surface. I appreciate the lack of cover flopping about. Bought a screen cover to ease my mind about scratches - although my keyboard kindle never scratched without one. Just for the price of the oasis, I figure better safe than sorry. The holes for things all line up well - added bonus - it prevents accidental turn-offs because the power switch is recesses . A short fingernail helps reach it - or simply mash my fingertip on the hole. Nice product.

High Quality Kindle Case
I am really happy with this Kindle case! It feels very durable and the material is thick. The raised corners are nice for when you set the Kindle down on a flat surface to prevent scratches, and they make the Kindle a little easier to grip. I wanted this case to be able to have stickers displayed (I put the stickers in between the case and Kindle) and it worked out perfectly! Overall a really great case.
