So supportive and comfortable that I bought a second, identical, pair - despite the price
So comfortable, that I bought this second pair, just in case they become unavailable—I don’t want to be without. Taking a star off for the ridiculous price, but otherwise great shoes. Make it possible for me to walk when it would otherwise be too painful—and, not just walk, but walk all day: around town, around Europe, on cobblestones, up and down stairs. Great shoes, great footbed with both good (noticeable) arch support and good cushioning. Highly recommend.

Sturdy and stylish
I ordered a pair of Naots Amiria's from Zappo's, and for a few weeks after placing the order they weren't shipped, so I cancelled and ordered these from Amazon. I'm traveling internationally soon, and in recent years I've noticed my feet and ankles swell after hours and hours of sitting or standing. Compression socks help, but I also wanted to make sure for this trip I have a pair of shoes that I can adjust if my feet get big, so I got this pair with the laces. The order through Amazon, though fulfilled by Zappos, shipped right away. The shoes fit snug, there are no gaps in size 40 for a 9.5 women's size, but it doesn't pinch, either. It just fits like a glove. I am a little disappointed that the left shoe has some wrinkles along the right inside edge, along the big toe. For as much as you pay for these they shouldn't have such cosmetic inconsistencies. The insoles are very comfortable with arch support and the heel is sturdy. The sole at the toes is thin, so in all it has a slight wedge quality in each step. I'm flat footed, and these shoes feel very good. One serious issue I had the first time wearing these was that even though they look nice with low-profile ankle socks or no-shows, the heel works the socks off and gives blisters. I'm going to try these with some leather heel pads to see if it's any better, and since these shoes show promise of breaking in well I hope the problem goes away.

So lucky to find this shoe at this price
I was looking for sneakers in a comfort shoe and found this brand and style. Very expensive. Most comfort shoes (European) don't come in wide width, but Naot is highly recommended anyway. I browsed all the stores for it and was shocked when I found it at Amazon warehouse in my size without the box for about 1/5 the price. It's mostly a great fit. As expected the area at the base of the laces is a little tight, but there are several ways to do the laces to alleviate that.

Comfortable
This is my second pair. First was white, this one black. I am somewhat disappointed that the leather around the ankle is “crinkled/wavy”. For the price I’d expect it to be in the same condition as a $100 Nike shoe. They are a little tight so hope they’ll stretch out in time. I like the white shoes with capris but not the black. Looks “old ladyish” It doesn’t give the support like a fitness shoe.

Very comfortable
I'm a nurse and have been wearing this exact model shoe for years. I work 50+ hrs per week and am on my feet all day and rarely have aching feet. They are expensive, but they last so long, it makes up for it. The first pair lasted me over 5 years! I just switched out the insole every year as they recommend. The second pair lasted about 3 and half years. This latest pair feels just a s comfortable. Hopefully, the quality is still the same and I'll be able to wear them for a few years too!

Would make a very good shoe for travel
I have other Naot's, abet in a sandal design. Their quality is usually tops. This pair was a disappointment. There is a imperfection in the left shoe big toe area that was not just a "dent" that would work itself out. I have a narrow foot and my heel lifts when I walked. The colors in the pattern on the website are not what they look like in reality and hard to pair with clothing.

DEFECTIVE
At first thought they were ok. Wore them outside & got very bad blisters on the back of my right heel. I checked closer & the stitching was incorrect on the seam of the back of the right shoe. Bumpy along the seam. Cannot wear the shoe & cannot return because they were worn. They were purchased @J.D. Shoe. Recently had to return a pair of unworn Naot shoes to J.D. Shoes because they were defective. I am wondering if J.D. shoes is selling seconds of the Naot Shoes. 2 out of 2 purchases & there was poor workmanship???

Naot are usually my favorite brand, so I really wanted to love these ...
Naot are usually my favorite brand, so I really wanted to love these shoes. They just don't fit right. I tried them with three different thicknesses of socks, and cannot tell you why, but they don't feel comfortable. In thin socks, I walk out of them, Medium and thick socks, seem tight. It seems there is not enough room from the top of the shoe (not where the end of my toe is - that's fine) but they seem snug on the top part of my foot. Hope that makes sense. So I'll be returning them, I'm sorry to say.

Excellent shoes!
Insanely comfortable! I have tendon issues in my heels and these are cushiony enough to help alleviate the pain.
