Good ingredients. Scent lingers.
Self Care Essentials (SCE) KOKUM Hand & Foot CreamKokum is new to me. I ordered this Kokum cream to try because my current foot cream is almost finished and it’s fun to try new ingredients. I also appreciated that this one is cruelty-free and has “no nasties”, which are two features I do my best to look for. The cream arrived in a box that was sealed in plastic for safety.I ordered this hand and foot cream thinking I would end up using it as a foot cream but would try it as both. This 3.38 oz / 100 ml cream is smaller but more expensive than my current 4 oz. favorite foot cream made with apple cider vinegar (ACV). I’m guessing that Kokum is more expensive than ACV. There is a natural scent (it’s not my favorite but I don’t dislike it) to this cream that I couldn’t detect a couple minutes after applying to my feet, but it did linger (for a good hour) when used on hands. However, it was only noticeable when I brought my hands to my face. This white cream has a rich, whipped look to it; it’s not thick, thin, or greasy (give it a few minutes to absorb on feet before walking on flooring). The ingredients that I’m familiar with (shea and avocado butters and olive, jojoba, almond, and coconut oils), look great and my hands and feet felt soft. There is a misspelling on the label: propendiol is listed and should be propanediol. When using this cream as a foot lotion, my feet didn’t feel as refreshed and clean as they do with the simple, less expensive ACV lotion that I had been using, so I’ll continue to use this until it’s finished, but I wouldn’t reorder. The cream I received in November 2022 was manufactured in May 2022 and the cream has a use by date of up to two years from the manufacturing date. Works great, healing
When I say I have dry hands, I mean they get so bad that they'll split and crack open. It's like having papercuts over my fingers. I took a picture before I started using this cream just to show it - you can see that all over the place where my fingers would bend, there are parts of the skin that are split open. It was painful and irritating, so I was looking forward to using this cream. The first night it did moisturize, but the pain was still there and they were still a bit stiff at first. The pain was gone by the second day and my hands were better hydrated. It's only been a few days, and I was going to use it longer before reviewing, but there's been a big enough difference that I decided to post already. You can see in the second photo the split skin isn't entirely gone yet but it's healing. It doesn't hurt anymore and I'm not getting new splits. It doesn't take much of this cream at all to use it. Just put a little dab on your hand and smear it around, and it absorbs quickly. It does have a smell to it - maybe like a chemically chocolate butter? I don't think it's that bad, but I could easily see someone not liking it, and the smell does stick around on your hands for a bit.Overall, I'd say it works, and it handled my dry/cracked/split skin very well, so I'm pretty happy.

Smells really nice, fast to absorb and moisturizes very well
This is definitely a premium product that is very reasonably priced. I love the scent, a mixture of Shea butter and coconut, my two favorite smells, but it also works exceptionally well. I have dry skin year-round but the colder winter months are always worse so I go through a lot of moisturizer. This is not greasy at all, is absorbed very quickly into your skin and feels luxurious afterwards. While I normally go for unscented creams, this fragrance does linger for a while which is good as I happen to like it. It's marketed as a hand and foot cream but I've used this on my elbows and other dry areas, I assume products like this are described as being for certain areas due to being higher potency or stronger than required for certain areas of skin but there's obviously nothing stopping you from applying this anywhere you choose. I will buy this again as it's a high quality cream that works really well.

Happy Hands and Heels
This whipped hand and foot cream has a lovely shea butter scent. It is almost reminiscent of vanilla, which was what my husband thought it smelled like. The scent is very light and not at all overpowering. The cream has a thick texture and applies smoothly to my hands and feet. My poor dry skin just soaks this KOKUM cream right up, like a sponge. My skin is miserable in the winter when our heated house lowers the humidity level. Couple the low humidity with dishwashing and my hands are rough and thirsty for lotion or cream. This brand is perfect for my winter needs. I used this cream on my feet and then put on my silicone heel covers. Approximately forty minutes later all the rough spots on my heels were gone.

Pleasant cream, but not for serious dryness
I always have dry skin on my hands and feet. I also live in the desert. I need serious cream for my hands and feet. This cream is pleasant. It has a delicate smell that is clean and not overwhelming. It does rub on smooth and soaks in quickly. It feels nice for a hour or so, but then it seems to disappear. I used this overnight, and by morning, everything felt dry again, like I hadn’t put lotion on. It’s disappointing because I love finding a new foot and hand cream, and this seems very nice, but it’s just not enough for someone prone to dryness who also lives in an extremely dry environment. It is a very pleasing cream however if you need something for normal skin.
