The book is really helpful

It’s a really fun way to get better at Korean. Not only are the phrases used modern and interesting, but the audio clips really help with learning pronunciation and intonation. I think this book will be really helpful for upper beginner/ intermediate learners.

Buy when: You've learned a little bit of Korean (Script, Sentence Structure, Introduction and "사랑해") but you'll travel to Korea in 60 days.I ordered the book after watching a useful video on Hyun-Sil Seo's YT channel. I have been learning korean for a while now and plan to go there for a trip next year so I'll use it to really make the most important phrases stick in my head as I tend to panic when I'm next in line and others are waiting behind me. : )This 50 day course is well structured: Task - Pattern - Key Sentences - Expressions - Dialogue PracticeThere are QR Codes for pronounciation practice and a lot of practical tips for getting around.그래서 저는 이제부터 이 책으로 열심히 공부할게요!

I am reading it now. You have to know hangeul And basic grammar of pronunciation to understand the book It grade. Two are more korean languages

Buy this book if you already know Hangul, are past the basics, and want to practice natural Korean sentences for everyday conversation.Audio is broken down into two different speeds (slow and natural) and alternates between male and female voices. Easy to access via QR codes.I appreciate that the book is color coded - this makes it very easy to follow along. Some sentences contain underlined words and phrases that can be replaced by a corresponding list directly underneath in black. (I really like that. Helps me with forming my own sentences.)There are 8 Units with each unit broken down into separate "days" for a total of "50 days". Each day is 4 pages long and takes about 20 minutes to go through. There's a "Speak With Me" section at the end of each day which combines several of the sentences covered to form a mini dialogue.My favorite part about this book is the practical and natural Korean. It definitely feels geared toward speaking rather than test taking. This isn't a grammar textbook nor one that will upgrade your vocabulary, but instead provides sentences that can be used right away. Sprinkled throughout the book are cultural comments which help provide insight into forming natural Korean sentences. (I really like that!)As a bonus, this book contains beautifully colored illustrations at the beginning of each unit! That, plus the color coded sentences, adds a lot of value to the price.And definitely check out the author's YouTube channel: Alpha Korean Class. I had a hard time when I studied abroad in Korea with the language, even though I was taking classes and had studied alone for a while all the stuff I learned couldn’t be applied yet. Within the first chapter of this book it’s already gone over words and sentences that definitely would’ve saved me anxiety from when I first arrived in Korea. Skimming through the chapters I can tell there’s so much useful information that would be very helpful to anyone planning on going to Korea or trying to learn. I’m very excited to study with this book!!
