Only giving this 3 stars because this won't focus for my LG V30 phone, even when the focus dials are rolled all the way to the stop for both eyes. It came close to focus - so I messed with putting sticking some thin foam 3m strips around the area where my phone touches the frame to push it further from the lenses. This got it to come fairly close to focus - but I don't like this 'hack' solution when the lenses should have enough range by themselves to focus. Buttom line, if you have a new LG V30 or LG V30+, I'd stay clear of this product and try a different one.Ignoring the above focus issue, the plusses are that the headset is both light and comfortable. I like the fact it has diopter range setting and the fact that it has a focus knob for each eye. Too bad it won't completely focus on its own with my phone or I'd give it 5 stars.

Quality was what I expected for the price. Controller is junk - don't waste your money. My issue was that I could not get a good focus with the adjustments. I wear transition glasses - they fit inside the headset just fine, but focus was blurred. So, I tried - no glasses, reading glasses & distance only glasses, to no avail. I let my wife try them and she got the best focus by holding them about one half inch away from her face and she doesn't wear glasses.I think I got a bad headset, but I am only buying if I can try first. I guess I expected better based on the reviews.

Don't give this as a gift, keep it for yourself. The free gift (controler) gets kept by the giftee when gifting this fun VR headset. I watched the roller coaster VR app and even got sick! They work. Be sure to drink your Ovaltine and use the bare phone inside this device. no screen protector or case...go naked and see the FUN.

I bought this as a gift. It seemed well made and allows you to adjust for focus. However, the clip inside that holds the phone was unattached and can't be screwed back in because of the downward angle. The remote, although connected to the Bluetooth, doesn't work and the unit is stuck in annoyingly LOUD mode. I won't bother to return it.

Not sure if I just happened to get a defective one or not, but could not get it to focus. Kind of disappointed considering all the good reviews. Tried 3 different phones and people and it just didn't work. Returned for a refund and will continue to look for another one.

Works, but the IOS app they suggest you use pummels you with advertisements. Also, app has no way to control age rating of content.Did find a few videos on YouTube that work with it. A lot of fun for a low price, but it seems like my son has lost interest in it.

Limited focus adjustment. Works pretty well with any phone. The controller is very cheap, and not compatible with most apps. Wish I had just bought the headset without the controller. Note, it's very important to see what apps are VR compatible for your phone before getting a VR headset.

Not the high quality I expected for the price. My grandson's Discovery VR's for $9.99 are only a little behind these. I would not buy them again. The remote is really lacking although the vendor does express this.
