I have been using this eye mask extensively as a sleep aid. I am a light sleeper. Even a dim light is enough to wake me up. Friend of meditation mask has greatly improved the quality of my sleep. This allowed me to be more productive at day. I wonder why I didn't order it earlier.This product is great for blocking light to enter into your eyes. But this does have disadvantage. The strap of the mask is of below average quality. It has metal buckle which could cause you discomfort if you do not set it properly. It has to be set empirically. The mask absorb sweat, and if your are someone who sweats in sleep then you have to regularly wash this mask.Putting aside these few drawbacks, the product is overall great.

Silk sounded good and I ordered this as I'd lost my old silk mask.But upon receiving I immediately realised my old band had two straps placed in a way that each goes above and below the ear, making it extremely comfortable.This single Band, depending on how you set it can be quite uncomfortable. Plus the added cushion while give comfort to some, adds to the weight. I can still live with the weight but the single Band and it's placememt here is not comfortable. It pressed on this peculiar nerve and made me uncomfortable.Your experience might be different than mine.
