This was my first polygel kit and I fell in love with it as soon as I used it. It’s very loose compared to another company I’m using (Phoenixy) and a little pricier, but sometimes I think the ease of spread outweighs the other.there are two things, though;1. The clear SUCKS to spread, thus the 4/5 rating. Anytime I use it, if I don’t spread it exactly perfect the first time then all the clear gel just starts coming off! In fact, I’m pretty sure at least half of it stays on my brush either way! It can be a really big headache and annoying compared to using the colors.2. I’m not sure why this always happens with any gel base coat, but for some reason the solution just slowly oozes out of the bottle or SOMETHING. I try to keep the bottles upright, but even then when I go to grab them… it’s just STICKY. AT first this wasn’t the case with this brand, but sure enough… it is now. I’ve only done my nails about 5 times so far, but that’s the current state of my base bottle. It’s really annoying and I don’t know how to fix it; I’ve cleaned the outside with alcohol and it worked for a second but it quickly becomes sticky again. So… I’d just be aware of that in case you go to grab yours and find the same. I wouldn’t freak, though - it’s not a SPILL it’s just the bottle gets sticky No mess, except for all the fuzz the outside of the bottle might accumulate…!

These are ok. Maybe I just didn’t have the patience to learn exactly how to do these. But everything you would need did come in the package! If you want easy and quick just go get your nails done, but if you want to try learning how to use poly gel I believe this kit would be perfect for a beginner.

I did a acrylics for over 25 years. I've never used this stuff before but hated the old brush on gel. This was my first time using it, and they came out pretty good. I also put a coat of gel Polish over them.. I'm a fan. Process was easy and if you need to add more to build up tips or side.. Just rough up nail with you're file. Add your base coat again and more gel and cure. Simply, easy and great results.

A few important things to note about this product. The way the video shows where you put the product on your mail then press the form is the best way considering just how sticky the product is, if you tried to paint it on the mold as the instructions say it would never work. Once you have pressed the nail on MAKE SURE you dip the brush in nail polish remover before touching up the edges, and MAKE SURE you press the nail and touch up the back to thin out the extension or you’ll be left with chunky nails. The instructions also don’t tell you that the base coat will still be wet after you cure it but it should be wet still. The instructions also don’t tell you you can’t reuse the forms because of the film the nail leaves. I tried to reuse them and it made a COMPLETE MESS. the hardest part about these nails is the form doesn’t stay on all the time, half my nails came out great because the form stayed secure to the nail, while others continued to pop off while trying to cure and made a mess. Also if you see a portion messed up and you want to fix with another layer or a little patch… it won’t work, it will chip right off you will have to remove the whole nail and start again. Once these kinks are figured out it’s not so bad. So far I have tried this kit 3 times all different ways and it took about an hour each time. Is it a time saver over the nail salon? No. Is it convenient? Ehh. Is it far less damaging? Yes. Is it a lot cheaper? Yes. So far I have mixed feelings. If it took 30 mins or less it would be a great buy for me. But an hour for something that is time consuming, frustrating and isn’t perfect …. Idk. Hope this helps.

I was excited about the idea of this. But the nail extensions broke almost immediately. I gave it another try as I figured I needed to use more per nail to create a thicker stronger nail. They still broke. I ended up returning it.

The light is not quite strong enough to cure but good for travel. The colors are significantly lighter than the ad, especially the pink glitters. And finally--I'm not sure WHY it burns but under the UV light there's a substantial burning feeling on the nail bed. It does take some practice, and if you let it sit too long on the plastic nail it becomes harder to manipulate--I think my issue is I use too little. you do need to make sure the underside is thinner b/c it will glop up so I have to use a nail drill to get it out. Decent for the price and good for travel/repairs however!

Great product if you know how to apply it. Practice, practice, practice!!

Practice makes perfect, I am still learning how to handle this product, it does take time and patience, the video could be misleading, making it look so easy, but I will try, try, again see what happens 💅😆😆💅

My husband bought me this as a gift for Xmas as I’m usually just a gel polish gal but my nails don’t grow long enough abs I want to have long nails.The kit is great and I had my all be it badly shaped nails on for over a week I’ve just recently removed them to try a different approach at making them a better shape. (They would have lasted way longer if I hadn’t removed them)I would have liked to have a slip solution with it as just using the base coat doesn’t clean any gel away if you flood the cuticle area or side walls it kind of just moves it about. If it has the slip solution it would be 5stars.

I loved this product. Took a little time to get right and use the forms correctly but once you get the hang of it, it really is easy. It has everything you need, apart from a light and slip solution. While you can use the base coat as a slip solution i would recommend buying one separately just to make things a little easier.Only reason it's not 5 stars is i discovered I was allergic to it. Did not know before hand but after using it and getting itchy fingers which were painful and cracking of my skin, combined with a red itchy rash on my face I discovered this was the culprit.However if you have used polygel before and had no reaction I say go for it as this product really is very simple and easy to use - even if a complete beginner like me .

i havent used this yet but looks good, only thing is they have sent a completely empty bottle of topcoat which sucks since ive run out. not a deal breaker but you expect everything to be there when you order something
