Absolutely loved this book couldn't stop turning the pages. The chemistry between both MC was perfect from the 1st page. The twists in this book where brilliant. I love Mafia romances and once again this is another one I loved! Amazing chemistry but also got a bit of angst and suspense to keep you on your toes!

WOW, what a sensational plot filled with lots of action, twists and turns!Mind- blowing dark mafia romance for me, I've never read a book in this genre like this one!It's amazingly written and my first book from this talented writer, I loved every bit of it!The book is packed with dark characters, and Luka and Natasha are the main ones and I fell in love with their love story and steamy scenes!Natasha is strong, fiery and Luka is dangerous, deadly, yet his obsession and protectiveness over Natasha is beautiful and touching.It's a long book and you are in on a roller coaster in almost every page of it, I was astonished by it. No dull moment in it and it will capture you from the beginning until the end!I can say that I was second guessing trying to decipher what was happening in some scenes, it's a very captivating story! And, I was always rooting for Natasha and Luka's love story!!!I 100% recommend this remarkable dark mafia romance to everyone into this genre!!!Take a chance, you'll not regret it :).I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Luka Malikov kidnaps Natasha Resnov on behalf of his twin brother, Dima, as part of a revenge plot against her father, Ivan.It should be simple, and would be if Luka and Natasha didn't have an instant attraction, one that she doesn't feel at all for the brother she's supposed to be marrying. Add to that the fact that Luka has to keep her in his apartment, their close proximity doesn't help at all.Good characters and plotline(s) to keep me engaged to the last page. Characters from earlier series' pop up to make an appearance. Lots of twists and turns, misunderstandings, betrayals and lies, and, of course, as with all of Kristen's books, heat.I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Filled with dysfunction, deep dark people, grudges, double crossing and passion, this is a book that races along covering a lot of ground in the process. Luka and Natasha stand in the very centre of this maelstrom, sometimes causing it and, at other times, buffeted by its intensity. The lives they lead, the families they are from, particularly Luka, makes so much of this inevitable. The book explodes into life from the very first page. Hang on..you are in for a bumpy, intense and gritty read! Great stuff! 💖💖💖💖
