This is a well-crafted, solid toy. The colors are very vivid and the wood has a nice finish to it. I like the versatility of being able to remove the xylophone to play with it separately. The balls sit nicely on top of the holes and require just enough force to go through, but not so much that little ones are unable to put the balls through. The only thing I wish there was, is a small storage compartment to keep the balls and mallets altogether with the toy. Overall, I am very satisfied with this toy and my 1-5 year old kids love it!

I got this hammer toy for my nephew as a gift and it seems to work really well so far. The pieces are not too small either which is essential for a toddlers toy. He loves being able to hammer down the little pegs! It seems very durable and it hasn’t fallen apart at all either. The price isn’t bad at all for the toy itself since it doesn’t look cheaply made.

I liked that this was made of wood, will definitely hold up to repeated banging. It's a pretty basic toy. Wooden mallet. The construction is simple. When you bang on one post, the one opposite pops up. There are some gears on the side that spin to give your child another option for developing their motor skills. It's pretty simple and if your kid is not into banging things they will tire of this quickly.

Keeps the kids entertained and they love it.
