Installed in just a few minutes. Started it up and unit did not make ice at first. Contacted Tina at customer service and she carefully walked me thru how the machine worked and had me take videos. When taking the videos I noticed water from the basin tank going behind the basin not into the basin as it should. Took the basin out and applied silicon behind the basin. Reinstalled the basin tank and everything started working and making lots of ice. You see if the water doesn't go into the basin tank it can't get cold enough to freeze. Has been making lots and lots of ice since. What I like most about this machine is that it makes a bin full of ice and then goes idle until it needs to make more i.e. doesn't run all the time. Price is another plus. Customer service is the best especially Tina.

To start I received the ice machine and had it installed as part of an outdoor kitchen by a plumber. It worked great first few weeks. Came home one night to water pouring out of the back. Opened it up and found the internal water line burst. I easily replaced it with 1\4 OD and restarted. It would not run. I emailed customer support and they responded immediately. He walked me through doing a reset on the board which didnt work. Then said he would send a brand new board. The board arrived shortly after and I changed it out. He checked back with me and I informed him it was working but now was simply not shutting off. I do want to add even when sending me the board they stated they would give me half my purchase price back for my troubles. At this point he informed me they would send me a brand new unit which they now said has a better water line. A week later it arrived as promised and yes the water line was of better quality and integrity. I know thier is some bad in here for the machine failing. I think yes the original line bursting just caused a succession of issues. What I do want to attest to is this seller STANDS by thier product with responsive support and resolution! Could not have been more pleased with thier timely responses and troubleshooting. Eventually they simply replaced it completely. No argument and no questions asked. That is A+ in my book. Sometimes things just go wrong. When someone actually supports what they sold, helps you troubleshoot and in the end makes it right that is a product you want to buy. So far replacement machine is working great and is everything I expected it to be. I rarely ever write a review but in this case I felt I needed to convey that this seller went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with thier product and solving the issue that happened. I have changed my review to 1 star because I have been having trouble with a unit we bought a few months ago. I was able to get in touch with their customer service at first but now the emails come back "undelivered" and their phone does not work either.I have requested Amazon try to reach out to them but have not heard anything from them either. They may just be trying to unload the units they have in the warehouses.If I had to say as of today I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this unit or ANY Gilati product to a friend. We have this unit in our own home and it does work but the second unit is full of problems. STAY AWAY. :(

The media could not be loaded.  This worked great for us. It did stop working and when the troubleshooting in the manual didn’t work, their customer service was very helpful and responsive to help us get our issue resolved.

We bought a competitor's ice maker because water could be added via water bottle. We're on well water and needed to use bottled water. Float never worked correctly, and ice never was made correctly. Thought it was a fluke, so sent it back, that cost a fortune and I was only reimbursed a part. Still, we liked the design, so bought a second. The first bottle we used nearly caved in, there was no exchange of air. Sent it back, screwed on reimbursement again! Purchased the Gilati model and set it up differently. I added a wall mounted pump to extract the water from a bottle and used an empty bottle for drainage by way of a Little Giant automatic condensation pump. The whole system works great! One of the Gilati's best feature is the swing access door. Other models have the flip up door, which easily comes down. Ice on setting level 4 is perfect for everyday use and 6 is great for filling coolers.

First one we received was defective and had to work with the manufacturer because it was past the Amazon return window. After a few failed trouble shooting attempts William sent us a new one which now works well.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought for the rv to save trips to town for Ice. The first one we got in was damaged but Tina helped us out and got the refund going. Replacement arrived quick. New one is working perfectly. Three of the four corners of the ice maker plate are cracked already and was after the first batch was made but all seems to be still working fine. Actually ordering another one for the house right now as well. Love the black color is why we actually went with this one as it matched the rest of the appliances in our rv. Hook up was a breeze. For sure worth it so far.

We were told to leave a glowing review to receive credit of $80. Kept telling me that it was being processed and never received a cent of credit for the review. On top of this the machine stopped working with about ten uses (purchased less than a year ago). Very unhappy with this product and their service is horrible. No way to get in contact with them and Amazon isn’t doing anything to help either. 100% is a shady business and manipulates those who buy to write positive reviews for gift cards that never get delivered.
