Conterra Trauma Pro EMS/Radio Holster

Does What It's Supposed to Do
This is a great little holster. On the sides you could either put a maglight if you use one, a penlight, pens, or a seat belt cutter. In the front velcro pocket I always carry one or two pairs of gloves just in case my partner or I forget to bring in a pair, or in case the call requires me to change the pair I currently have on. It has more that enough space to carry your typical sides radios, although you will probably need to remove the clip from the back of it so that it can fit in the holster. It can also hold you your trauma shears in a little funnel-like pocket between the front velcro pocket and the pocket for the radio. It is supposed to have some sort of "friction plate" on it to secure the shears without the need of a strap, but it feels real loose to me to the point where I find myself occasionally checking to see that my shears are still there. Overall great product, and although a little pricey, to be quite honest, you're not going to find a radio holster for less than $20-$25 unless you scour ebay or cragslist for hours without end (which I suggest you don't waste your time, I tried it and had no luck).Pros:-More than enough pockets to carry what you need.-Secure and a good size.Cons:-You may have to remove your radio's clip so it can fit (not really a draw back, more of an annoyance really).-Shears never really feel secure, "friction plate" doesn't really seem to do it's job to well.

Useable
Lots of room to store needed gear. I do not use the pouch for a radio but stuff my stethoscope in there. Ample room in the glove pouch for three pairsI’d give the holster a B- grade. Well put together but confusing to put it back together. Also it feels somewhat flimsy on your belt

Fully adjustable, holds what I need
I like the fact that I can fully adjust this holder to hold my radio at the height I need it so it won't fall out when I bend over. Also don't worry that the holster will read Trauma Pro in big letters, it just reads Conterra in professional looking white rubbery letters. I use a separate pouch for extra gloves. I use the front pouch on this holder for the card with everyone's call numbers so I know who is on the radio. I also have a small notebook in there. Pens and penlights fit nicely in the side pockets. I have used Conterra holsters before. They are functional and hold up well.

Conterra
Not bad but if you lean over the mag light will fall out but other than that it works great.

Great Pouch
Fits just what I need. Simple adjustment for radio, secure enough where it won’t move even when in unique angles.

LOVE IT
Everything I need during my daily duties at work fits well in this case. The radio compartment fits every different size radio I have depending on where I am working. Would highly recommend this.

Two Stars
It's a little small circumference wise for my department radio /NYC Agency

Watch, it might fall out!
I have to items by Conterra, The chest harness with single attachment and this radio holster. I am a harbor patrol officer and respond to a wide range of emergencies, I like being able to carry gloves, pens, shears and a light with me. I bought this because policy requires that when we are around boats or the ocean, the radio must be properly retianed. The thing I find unusual for a technical rescue company like Conterra is that there isn't a radio restraint device along the top of the holster. I jury rigged my own using some elastic cord and a clip. It's a good item and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have to do a lot of physically strenuous movement.
