Wood of the cup is split by a wide crack
Upon receipt from Amazon, the wood of the burner showed a crack, starting at ½ cm wide, from the very top of the cup, to the first decorative ring, approx 4 cm lower. One could argue that it gives the burner an antique look, but I'd rather get that through use, not straight out of the box.
