Well-organized, easy-to-understand.
I love this book!I have been practicing yoga off/on for 12 years. My practice is usually within a studio.Eight months ago, I started to study yoga from a scholarly perspective. I became overwhelmed with all the information! Yoga is ancient and can be adapted in any way and this book is a representation of that.I am currently using this to build my confidence to return to studying this large topic. Recently I have started my own home practice and the knowledge from this book has helped me.This is made for the western Yogi!

very useful
It arrived today! Just 3 pages of information about breathing techniques that are allowed and not allowed for certain conditions has made this book worth it. I do have a number of other yoga manuals, including the classic by Van Lysbeth that cost 3.00 dollars!

Wonderful guide to yoga
I found this book at the library and loved it so much I bought my own copy. Really helpful and thorough.

Für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene interessant, da alle Aspekte des Yoga detailliert bearbeitet werden. Die Zeichnungen sind sehr deutlich, sodass ich gerne auf die Farbfotos verzichten kann. Harvard weckte hohe Erwartungen und diese wurden voll erfüllt.
