Update. Stopped working as well. Easy fix.
I started getting occlusions near the bottom of the ice cubes. Noticed water coming from the seam at the bottom. The inside insulation gets wet. Thats just from water running over it. I suspect that changes the rate of freezing. The seam at the bottom needs sealing. I’ll try that.Earlier:Awesome. Really! Clear like glass. I'm only using water from my fridge water tap.Yes, it’s a task to remove the mold from the box. I’m getting better at it. I dump hot water over it. Give it time then start grasping and pulling in at the sides (not the handle,) swapping sides. Two a day but you can start storing them in a ziplock.Tip: Find a flat place in the freezer. Fill most way and sink the mold, then top to rim after you set it down.

Works great
The ice maker is great quality and easy to use. Just add water to the fill line and let the ice maker sit in the freezer the next day. You have to break out the ice that forms on top but no big deal. The ice inside the mold it not too hard to retrieve. The only downside which isn't a bid deal for me is to wait a few minutes to allow the ice that forms at the bottom of the container to thaw out which is a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, it's about perfect and beats out more expensive version of this ice maker. I just keep making the ice and store it in my freezer since you can only make 2 at a time. I highly recommend it.

Mostly works as advertised
Definitely a lot of work to get 2 mostly clear ice cubes. I use freshly distilled water slightly warmed as recommended. After 24 hours in my 8 degree F freezer, the ice is ready. You really do have to let it sit for 20-30 minutes before removing the mold from the reservoir. And it doesn't always release easily. So far my ice balls are nearly clear, but with a few air bubbles in them; not a big deal. But the ice works and looks great in my bourbon drinks. I knocked the rating by one star because I received 2 Ice Ball molds, not one ball and one cube mold as advertised. Clearly a product packaging error. Not worth returning it though as I mostly want the ice balls.

Works very well, but patience is required to remove the ice
I have several of these types of ice molds, and this one does a fantastic job, plus it can make cubes and spheres. I have attached pictures of the 2 best examples that I have made. 130F is the optimal temperature for the water, although it does take longer to freeze than room temp, obviously. My only criticism is that it is NOT easy to get the ice out. You have to let it melt slightly, about 10-15 minutes, or you can't pull the mold it.

Both round and square ice cubes can be made, which is a particularly cool way to make them!
I use hot water from a bottled water cooler. The resulting spheres are very firm and have almost no air bubbles, sometimes none at all. This ice lasts much longer than the cloudy, cracked and blistered ice made in other moulds. Not only does this kit make round ice balls, there is also a set inside that makes square ice cubes. All in all, it's a solid piece of kitchen equipment that feels well made and although you can only make two spheres at a time, it's super easy to use and super cool!
