Solid, surprisingly high quality product that gets attention
I bought this product on a whim, but I'm very glad I did. I've seen other, similar 'novelty' shifters before, but there's no comparison in quality. This particular one is steel and brass, and let me tell you the material makes all the difference. This thing is HEAVY. Depending on what you're putting it on, can make for a very satisfying shift. I had this on my daily driver for just shy of two years, and it basically looks like new. I sold the car before the shift knob failed. I simply used one metal and one rubber washer to basically pressure lock it into place, and I think once I did that, I've had to adjust it maybe twice in all that time.Excellent build quality aside, this thing tends to be quite the conversation starter. Wife likes it, friends that get in the car always talk about it. My uncle, a Maserati/BMW/Lexus owning 'car guy' even liked it. Said it fit the high end Japanese vibe of the Mazda I put it in.So yes, 5/5 cannot recommend highly enough.

Bought an adaptor for my Dodge Avenger 2013 clip on. Love it
Material is awesome. It was a twist on, I found my Dodge Avenger 2013 was a clip on and my stick was pretty skinny so I just bought an adaptor, here’s the link.Kei Project Custom Universal BMW Mini Shift knob Shifter Adapter (Black)Buy this as well if you want this katana. It works perfectly with it. I thought my stick would be too skinny, but the 3 Allen tench screws were conveniently placed and now my katana is set and ready to go. Feels great, looks great, couldn’t be happier. Thank you

Man, what a great piece! Feels and looks great!
When I received it and opened the box i loved the way it looked! The blue basically shines through, as well as the sheen from the metal. It's has a nice weight to it if you want something the feels sturdy and looks beautiful. I haven't had any issue with the Tsuka-Ito (handle wrapping) moving around or coming off. It's a great piece, and I nice eye catcher (I had someone leaning halfway out the window at a drive through to see it and compliment it haha). Definitely recommend picking one of these up if you're into samurai, or Japanese art or culture!

Heavy, Solid, and a Real Eye-Catcher! (Updated After 1 Yr)
I've had this product for OVER A YEAR now on my 2004 Celica GT.**UPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR**Some of the red cloth/wrapping has started to fray and has become dirty. I don't wear any jewelry on my shifting hand - so, this isn't wear that was unnecessarily introduced as part of normal usage. That being said, I would still recommend this product to anyone. It still looks great and works great!Aside from the nut/threading frequently becoming loose, I really love this product. (Easily solved with some Locktight). The build quality is absolutely solid, the string/wrapping around the handle hasn't unraveled or come undone. My favorite part is the weight of this shifter; you can really feel the metal construction and know that you're holding a substantial piece of craftsmanship.I've also gotten a lot of compliments from others regarding the shifter. These compliments are from people who just happened to see my car in the parking lot and were really impressed. This is a great conversation starter!

Fits Focus ST!!
Came with 3 adapters and 4 nuts to help install it perfectly. Focus ST thread size does not require an adapter, and I had to use a nut to space the reverse pull from the handle itself. The handle is probably the best quality you can buy. It’s VERY heavy, which some like and some hate. I personally love the heaviness because it glides into gear like it wants to. The metal is properly engraved. And I believe the fabric on the handle has been glued/tacked in so it won’t slide around. I saw pictures with the cloth slid up or down, mine will not move at all no matter how hard I slide my hand down or pick at the cloth. Lots of compliments already and really enjoyable to use!!

Poor-quality wrapping despite a well-made shifter body
Bought this item twice - the second time was as a replacement for the first. Both shifters were nicely made and heavy, though with some QC issues like paint drops on the brass parts. The main issue is that the fabric wrap is very poorly done and comes off easily. The wrap came off both shifters after less than 20 miles of driving. The way the wrap is done is also less aesthetically appealing and clean than the wrap on other, similar products on Amazon, which can be seen in the listing pictures. The only reason to buy this shifter over the others is if your car has a reverse lockout pull ring and therefore needs a shifter that threads on instead of fits over the shaft with grub screws.

2020 Subaru WRX STI
I bought this for my Subaru and it fits perfect. You get the Katana like knob, fitments, and some nuts.I would like to say it makes the inside of my stock Subaru look real nice. Not ricey at all. It doesn't sit high either. It has a hefty nice weight to it too. It makes shifting enjoyable and it also looks good. It's not showy nor does it look cheap. Only time will tell but I can say now that it should last me a very long time.Easy installations.1. Remove your shift knob2. Find the nut that fits your threading (for 2020 STI, just use the biggest nut available)3. Screw the nut in all the way to the bottom and make sure you don't tighten it yet.4, Screw on the Katana shifter5. Time it out with the nut and you will get a nice tight fit. It won't go anywhere. Even rough shifting.
