We got this for my 5 year old son for Christmas and to use for homeschool this year. He loves building with Legos. It's fun to see him build using the instructions and get creative making new builds as well. Product seems well made and keeps his interest.

My students have worked with the basic Brackitz sets for a couple of years. This pulley set adds versatility to the original set, allowing the students to explore more aspects of engineering and physics. At least, those were my excuses for getting this add on pack. My students,on the other hand, instantly saw this set's potential for imaginative play. They also use it to help with their continuing Rube Goldberg projects. I use the pulleys to demonstrate gravity, simple machines, etc., but the students use them to bring life to their Brackitz creations.I can't wait to get ahold of some of the other sets as well and see what the students will create with those.

My son loves building with this toy. His creativity is endless with this building set. He loves creating all kinds of inventions and buildings. We have several sets of these building blocks and he just had to add another set to his collection so he could do even more. I definitely recommend this set!

My son loved it! However some pieces weren’t correct. We were still able to use them but some of the pieces weren’t as shown.

I love love love these. The pieces are well made and go together easily.You have to be a little careful not to use too much force when you are putting the pieces together so they don't move, but that might be an adult concern. At this point, I've had more fun with them than my five year old, but he'll get into them as he gets older because he loves building things.

Finally, a truly open-ended toy that allows kids to go from their imaginings to creating something. So many toys for building are limited by being layered on with a theme or by starting with a pre-set a build-goal - not this one! Brackitz is perfect for my students because it allows for their ideas to motivate the build, supports them to explore making and remaking their designs with a lot of quick rebuilds, and allows them to get started young (without it being "baby-ish" and excluding older kids). A great addition to our hands-on learning and this kit is especially good for exploring engineering and problem solving.Shipping was also FAST!

My 4yo son (and 7yo daughter) like building with this kit- his favorite part is the pulley, bucket, and hook combo pieces. He doesn’t care to make it yet as suggested on the box (he asks me or his Dad to do that), but is content to connect the pieces as he pleases randomly:) Wish it had a reusable container/box, but that’s not a deal breaker. Good value.

So I bought this for a college project expecting this kit to be flimsy or defective, but it actually blew my expectations away. It's proven to be durable from my multiple drops of the pieces. But I like that there's always something different to do. Variety is awesome.
