From what I can tell, these don't have any type of finish on them. I guess these could be painted, or stained, or just clear finished.Even though they aren't finished and require an extra step before use, I think they are worth it. They are sanded quite nicely, edges are rounded. Smooth and no worry of splinters or anything like I've seen on some unfinished hardware. The screw to hold it on is perfect, no catches on threads, or anything else. Just unscrew the old one, and screw this one on for a nice change in hardware on any furniture piece or cabinets.

I wanted something very basic and simple to go with my bathroom, which has a lot of tile. I felt like wood would add a good natural element. These are not fancy, but the price was right and you get 12 of them. They would be easy to stain or paint, but I think I'm going to leave them as is. These would be great if you were looking to do a craft or something for a themed bathroom, that's just not my style

I have a large piece of distressed pine furniture that came with pine knobs.Over time the inserts in the back of the knobs have started coming out andmy puppy decided he needed to "distress" one of them more than the rest.Saw these and decided to give them a try.Construction is very consistent between the knobs I received andalso come with the mounting screws (nice long ones).They appear to be maple (or similar hardwood) with just a little grain.The hardware insert in the back is a pressure driven in type with a * patternso the insert will not spin back out (obviously this was important for me).I gave them a light hand sand (there were some existing manufacturing scratches,but nothing heavy or unexpected) and then painted them with 2 coats of flatblack spray enamel. I will probably paint them more when I am sure the firstcoat is totally dry (note the pictured one was touched before the paint was dry).They take paint very well (note as a trick you can push nails through heavy cardboardand set the knobs on them in the mounting hole while painting).Mounted up they match the piece well and give a nice hand feel in use.They should also take more abuse because they are hardwood rather than the original pine.These would work equally well in other applications.

Back to the basics. I really like this knob. Simple. Clean. They are very smooth and look great just as they are, but, since they're wood, you can stain or paint them however you like. The screw holes are perfectly aligned. Not much to it, and I like it that way. No complaints!

We are refurbishing an old antique dresser for our nursery and these are perfect for the drawer handles. They are a earthy wicker design that fits with our boho theme. They come with the screws and are ready to go.
