Yankee Candle Fragrance Spheres Odor Neutralizing Scent Beads, Macintosh

Very easy to add scent without a flame. The fragrance spheres add a light scent to any room and you can place the container and not worry about it.

It is a great item for any small workspace. I wish it lasted a little longer but it can be shaken and renewed!

Best scent ever! Have it on my desk at work to get rid of the office smell!

With a cat and a dog in the house, neutralizing orders becomes a priority. I use a variety of things to keep my house smelling fresh. One easy and inexpensive type of odor reducer is the "beads" as I call them. I pick up four or five at a time at the dollar store and they are at least twice the size of this Yankee Candle one. But they diminish really fast and dry out in just days. I bought this Yankee Macintosh apple scented odor neutralizer because it promised not just to cover scents but to help actually neutralize them. And Yankee Candles are great so I figured that this product would be as well.The scent is strong at first. The little spheres are damp and plentiful inside the plastic canister and the scent wafts through the holes in the top. While this doesn't throw scent far - it is made for small spaces - it definitely does give off a pleasant apple scent that lingers. I used mine in a small bedroom where my cat likes to hide. I could smell it the moment I opened the door. But, as with the cheap stuff, this isn't very long lasting. The beads were dried out and the odor was gone in less than two weeks. That is longer than the dollar store ones but not long enough for me to be blown away by. I won't buy more of these unless I get a crazy good deal on them. I'll just stick to the cheap ones and use my natural odor neutralizers that I have been favoring lately.if you have a small space that you want to freshen up, this is not a bad choice. But it doesn't last long although, even after the spheres are dried out, there is a lingering scent left behind. If this lasted for a month, I would be buying more for several areas of my home and camper. But just two weeks isn't cost effective for me.

I've been using this Yankee Candle Fragrance Spheres air freshener in our small guest bathroom, and it works well for that space! The fragrance, your classic "Yankee Candle Macintosh Apple", is not overwhelming... in fact, most of the time I don't smell it when I enter the room, but just occasionally catch whiffs of it. It also seems to be doing a good job at eliminating odors, as far as I can tell. I do make sure to shake up the container every once in a while to separate the beads.The container is definitely smaller than I expected... see attached picture. It contains 6oz. of beads, or "fragrance spheres". The product description claims that the beads would last for 45 days before they're gone and the air freshener needs to be replaced. I've had the container out for about 30 days now and the beads are 2/3 of the way gone, so I'd say that this estimation is pretty accurate.If you're looking for an air freshener that fills the whole room with fragrance, this is definitely not for you. Similarly, this particular air freshener is only recommended for small spaces, or as it says in the product description, "... all those places with stagnant air". Since the fragrance is not super strong, I think it wouldn't make sense to try to use it in any large rooms.The price for this particular air freshener is definitely somewhat high compared to similar products, but if you enjoy Yankee Candle's fragrances and are looking to purchase this for a small space, I'd recommend it!

This smells really nice but you can only smell it when you are within a foot or two of it. I have it in a small bathroom and can't smell it when I walk in.
