It's comfortable and with the design you don't slip off. I'm partially disabled, hard for me to stand long to cook or prepare a meal. This chair was a game changer for me to be back in the kitchen and able to prepare meals. Rolls easy on my slate floors so I can move from sink to stove to counters or frig. It's just the right height for counter tops & stove. The back rest is just the right amount for my back & not in the way. It's probably not the normal way to use the chair, but it works for me.

This chair has a couple issues one is that if you are over 300 pounds like myself, The height adjustment piston will leak and occasionally sink. The second issue is if you sit in this chair for more than 15 minutes, certain parts of the male anatomy (the boys) start to go numb. The backrest works great and probably is the only good part about this chair. If you need a chair where you only briefly need to sit somewhere for a few seconds like in front of a drill press this might work, but if you’re gonna use it to play arcade games, pinball machines, or drink at a bar, forget it! look elsewhere. This went back! I Ended up purchasing a fixed height barstool, and that works great.

I wanted a chair that wouldn’t tip when I reached down. This chair is so sturdy and I don’t slip off when reaching down.

Too tall for facial bed

assembly was incredibly easy and that maybe shouldve been the first yellow/red flag. the biggest offense with this was paying extra to get the footrest. its held up by 1 knob for tension, so u can place it wherever you want just don’t actually use it or put any weight on it because itll immediately fall/tilt down.maybe its just me but i cannot sit down for more than 1-2 hrs max before becoming intolerable. it feels like a very tough and uncomfortable bicycle seat so working my 10-12 hr work from home shifts impossible. also for my standard desk’s height, even the lowest seating is too tall to maintain an ergonomic sitting/typing, i even had my boyfriend try since hes taller than me, but it was still an awkward height to work at. maybe if you dont mind sitting and feeling stiff and have an adjustable height station this could work.
