We design this filter with a transparent inspection window, which is good for identify the status of hollow fiber membrane. Not matter it is clean of dirty, you can see the membrane color from the transparent window and backwash the filter if necessary. •DUAL THREADINGS: When the hollow fiber membrane is getting dirty, you can easily backwash your filter by a canteens or disposable water bottle. NOT a syringe or plunger as the most of mini water filter on the market. It is not convinent to bring a syringe or plunger during your trip, which is also easy to be lost. •MONTHLY INDICATOR: there is a monthly indicator on the outlet. You can adjust your starting time by the cap arrow. This is a helpful feature as a reminder of usage period, or storage period as a survial kit. •DUAL SEALING CAPS: there are dual sealing caps on both inlet and outlet of water filter, which can prevent water from inside of membrane leaking after use and rinsing your backpack or pocket.
