Length was fine, but they will not last long. I'll attach a picture, I've bought 2 pairs of these laces and all of them have done this from the beginning. The outer layer breaks easily and the internal lace explodes out of it. The internals are a nasty yellow color that looks like you dripped paint on your shoe or something. I'll have to be replacing these laces again soon and I will not be using these again.

I picked the size based on the recommendations of how many holes my shoes have, this was too short. Get a size bigger.Edit 2/13/2018: Using these shoelaces for just a few weeks in shoes that are only worn indoors they are fraying and falling apart, extremely poor quality. Come on, how hard is it to make shoelaces? Don't waste your money on these.

I love these asics running shoe but absolutely hated the look of them with the Neon Pink laces that gave them a sloppy look to me , so I almost sold them but then I considered just changing the shoelace color ! they look like a completely different shoe now and the colors are more harmonious to look at . The first pair I returned due to wrong color choice the exchange was just right with the 3/16" Thick Shoe Laces (45.5" (115cm) - L, Key Lime) .It is hard to match colors or even find a variety of color choices for athletic shoes that actually work , so pleased with the seller quality , choices , and prices .So if you want to change up the look of your athletic shoes to a better color flow you will be happy that you did with these laces . I am keeping my shoes because they no longer look sloppy with those awful neon pink shoelaces & loving the keylime green flow .....

I replaced strings in my Saucony Omni's because the originals were about 12" too long and I was stepping on them. I liked the looks of these replacements and still do, but I cannot keep them tied. I pull them so tight it nearly cuts my hand and then I "roll" the knot with my thumbnail to set it tighter. They come loose within a mile of walking, until they have been tied three times on that outing, then they generally hold. I now am double knotting them like you do for a child. As a result of the tightness I am using, they are now coming apart, after about 20 uses.

This laces cost WAY too much, to fall apart so quickly! Over $5 for a pair of laces, that coil up and come apart after only a few months. The picture of the green laces in the red New Balance... those are gym shoes. They are only worn a couple days a week, for a couple hours at a time. The laces start coiling up (as easily seen in the photos) from being tied. Ive never had to "uncoil" laces, every time I used them before. Even with uncoiling them before re-tying them, they STILL coiled uncontrollably, and the outer fabric wore off. These things are junk! The cheapest laces from Wally World are better than these. Dont take my word for it... read all the other reviews (with pictures to prove it) stating the same thing I am. Avoid!

Purchased 5/20/2018. I wear these shoes on weekends -- not daily wear. The reflective threads create an abrasive texture that basically wears itself out when repeatedly tying the shoes. The laces are attractive and very reflective, but I'm used to getting a couple of years or more from a pair of laces.

Only had for about a month although I only wear these shoes may be once or twice a week.Already coming apart. I guess you get what you pay for.

These shoelaces are a little thicker and less dense than the Merrell laces I am replacing. The color is also a little off, but I was not willing to pay more since I don’t think my shoes will last much longer anyway. They are as I expected, functional enough but not as good as the originals. They do not slide well in the fabric eyelet, so I used ski silicon to make them run better. Without that, it was nearly impossible to open and close the shoe. I assume that would not be a problem on shoes with a metal rim on regular eyelets. First photo shows the new laces along two old Merrell. The last picture is for color comparison.

I bought these in navy to replace the really bad laces that came on my Bull Boxer shoes. It was expensive since shipping is not included. Sadly these are just as bad. They stretched every time that I tied them and have begun to shred after a couple of weeks. It would not surprise me if these came from the same source as the laces Bull Boxer sourced.

It took a while until they arrived, but they are a perfect colour-match with my partner's hiking shoes' accent, and they fit well width-wise, even though manufacturer's original laces were a bit thinner. We're happy with this purchase and totally recommend these laces.

The shoelaces are great. Love the colour and thickness. However, the are about 5 inches too long. Would have been good to offer a smaller length. Would definitely buy another set in future.
